Well i want to cut a piece of a picture out and copy it somewhere. Its a big picture.
OK and you know the Select Tool?

So how do I scroll from left to right while holding the select tool down? It doesn't seem to work but i have no problem scrolling up and down. The arrow keys dont work and neither does just moving my mouse over to the right.

Paint sucks like that.
So anyway, I think you know where the select tool is, right?
Just select the part of the picture you want to select, then instead of dragging the cropped piece directly to where you want it, try just selecting it, then let go of the mouse, then use the scroll bars on the bottom and sides of the screen.
Enjoy!

You can do it by opening another blank paint and copying a part at a time. When pasting in to the blank one, use the bottom option that takes away the background. When you paste, use the magnify and scroll to the edge so you can see to line it up to the previous paste. You can adjust the image attributes to accommodate the new image if you know the approximate size.

Let me know if you need any further instructions.

Ok, I misunderstood your question....actually selecting a part of a huge pic doesn't seem to work with Paint :(
I would also recommend the Gimp and AcdSee.
Also, in case you don't have a photo manager you should get Picasa, it is a really great program.....

The GIMP ( one of a kind!)
ACD See Digital Imaging
and lastly..

try Adobe Photoshop 7...
It's one of the best versions..
But you also can try Adobe Photoshop cs2 and cs3!

astro22, I dont think of that ought to look stupid in any respect.!! in certainty years in the past my sister did something very similiar to what you have defined and it SO made her condominium look so present day!! It replaced into the best shade too! She used like a Burgandy colored paint, and it only looked so "superb!" She in straight forward terms painted like round her cabinet frames, in her kitchen and positioned all forms of nic-nac's to bypass alongside with it, and it only livened up her total place!! particularly whilst she positioned huge tree like flora everywhere to bypass alongside with the full look too! In her livingroom (it particularly is). She had a variety of kitchens you ought to work out from the livingroom so all of it went particularly nicely at the same time. For you and on your case, i think of you're completely going to love this new look. particularly once you have blinds, there particularly are not lots you're able to do with them. the place we live we even have blinds. And it gets so warm out here in the severe barren area that if we lots as positioned even curtains over our blinds, it could soften them, and curl them up! i've got considered it take place repeatedly back to different tenants the place we live! For some reason you won't be able to positioned something over them, or they curl up under as quickly because of the fact the sunlight hits them. So, besides i think of your on the extraordinary music to having your self an entire new look on your room!! only "decide for IT, AND DO IT!!" stay a sprint!! SMILE!!! desire you have relaxing!!
