These are called diverticuli. when they become inflamed it is callled diverticulitis. This can be very painful and require hospitalization and even surgery. The best thing is for prevention of an acute episode by adhering to diet than does not allow nuts, popcorn, corn, seeds or any other food that is difficult to digest (or frequently travels through you whole). These foods will become caught in the pouches causing pain and inflammation. Eat high fiber foods such as lettuce or cabbage

Sac-like pouches in the colon are diverticuli. The condition of having them is diverticulosis. When they become inflamed it is called diverticultis.
Polyps are growths on the inside which project into the inner space of the colon. They need to be removed so that they do not become malignant.

Those are the one ones I hold. I sniff them and in the event that they odor ripe, I upload them to the jar I hold by way of my mattress. Sometimes there is a seen crust. Sorry. My medicines are dressed in off and I'm getting a tad squirrely. After I chug a few booze and take one other tablet, I'll be peaceable once more.

Hernias.

See a doctor, because if the bulged part gets twisted or caught so the circulation is cut off, it will develop gangrene which left untreated will be fatal.
