Why can't you? Where there is a will there is a way. If you have the determination and motivation to do better, you will certainly reach your target someday.

Do not make the target too big until you can't accomplish at all. Maybe you could start improving by getting to know more vocabularies first: eg, 5 words one day? In this way, you will get to learn 150 in one month!

Do read newspapers or English magazines everyday so you could learn more about the structures of the sentenses.

Are you interested in singing? If so, getting to know more English songs would help - you will get to learn more words from the lyrics. The songs will also help a lot in your listening and comprehension skills when you are trying to figure out the lyrics.

Try to talk to someone who is good in English. Do not be afraid of making mistakes when you are talking to him or her. People learn from mistakes, so do be cool about it and don't worry!

Do not worry that you won't ever improve. Do believe that you are getting better each day. And the fact is, that you will continue to improve as long as you continue to be diligent and be consistent in achieving your goals.

All the best to you and me (yes I am trying to improve in English as well). Let's work hard together!

You can. Only thing is that you should try sincerely. I think you are a Hindi speaking person. You should use English as much as possible while you talk.

Read English newspapers, whether you understand on not LOUDLY for half an hour daily. It will improve your speaking and if anybody with english knowledge is nearby ,he will correct your mistakes.

Write English. Anything you can write while writing you read what you are writing. See English pictures.

Slowly but surely you will pick up that language. IN TAMIL classic THIRUKKURAL ( which is more than 2000 years old) there is a poem which says "Trial will bring success but not trying will bring only trouble and bad things".

Learning a new language takes time and a lot of practice, but is definitely something anyone can do. You need to speak a lot and write a lot. That's the best way to learn. Try watching TV, specially the news; reporters usually speak slowly and with very good pronunciation. You can also set the CC feature of the TV on, that will also help. Regarding your writing, you will need a tutor, somebody that tells you everything your write wrong and that doesn't make you feel bad for any mistake you make. Finally, regarding your pronunciation, the TV and a tutor would definitely help. Now, if you are afraid of speaking, you need to forget about it and dare to speak. That's the only way you will improve your English.

By the way, you always write "I" and "English" with capital letters.

I hope this helps.

Learning a foreign language is just like learning your native tongue. There is no magical formula, words, or wand. It simply comes through time, practice, studying, and repetition. Read many books, watch movies and TV, and speak to others in English. This is the only way to improve your English.
