Drinking has never cost me anything. No DWI's, no lost relationships, never been late to work, never missed class, and no health problems. And I really enjoy it. Thoughts please.

If it is not negatively affecting your social life or family life, I feel like you have the right to enjoy it. Plus it seems like you are responsible enough to put top priorities before drinking. If you drink because you like the taste then I dont see a problem. The only thing I would kepp in mind is health risks. Keep an eye on your health over the years and if you see it start to deteriorate, let your doctor know your drinking habits. Never know what could be the problem. :-)

If it is not affecting your health and social life I wouldn't stop. Binge drinking will cause more damage. I drink a few heavy beers a night- a lot of people do to relax. If your brushing your teeth with it or putting it on your breakfast cereal then I think you need help but until then... Cheers!

You mean, no health problems, yet.

I see that you are enjoying your drinks responsibly. But, be aware, as you age, your tolerance will decrease. You may be having issues even as we speak, and you do not realize it.

Every-body's tolerance is different. My suggestion is, have a doctor do a complete blood test on you, and make sure no organs are under stress.

Consumption of alcohol often stresses liver with a condition called "fatty liver" This is when liver becomes full of fatty tissue and inflamed. You won't have a symptom until it is in extremely advanced condition, possibly irreversible.

Be careful....

i would probably start drinking more. if you'd start drinking just a couple more each nite, and gradually work your way up to a 12-pak every nite, i think you'd be better off. who knows how far you could go before problems arise, only 1 way to find out really. it's a good idea to know where your limit is, then stop 1 beer before that & you're good to go.

If you like it, keep drinking. I enjoy a few beers once in a while. Just make sure its something you really like versus are compelled to do as due to some psychological reason.

I guess my question is this: If you say it's never bothered you, and you really like it, why are you asking this? What is the motivation behind the question? Perhaps you should look into that before you make your decision.

Although, personally, I'd say quit. Although it may be fun, you miss so much of life when you're drunk.
