the very hairs of our head are numbered and we have at least one talent...Have you figured out what your God given talent is and do you thank Him for your talent or do you take credit for it yourself? Mmm

Luke 12:7 says, "But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows". Also says the same in Matthew 10:30&31
Romans 12:3 "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Matthew 25:15 it speaks in parable of talents and in my concordence there are two meanings...one refering to money and the other refering to gifts of God bestowed on men. In verse 15 the reference is Romans 12:6 and 1 Corinthians 12:7 Psalms 139:14 says, "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works;..."

Thank you Terry for pointing that out to me. I cannot research it this moment because I am working but will get on it tonight. I have never been good at remembering my sources but those that can don't realize what a blessing it is. The born with a measure of faith is something I remember reading many years ago...Thanks for keeping me on track..Mmm

That verse means that from our previous life we had come to a certain level of God realization. So we take that up when we are born in this life. That is the way to measure. I take no credit for anything. Everything I have comes From God and nothing is mine. Every ability is His mercy and I thank Him and use them in his service. That is what everything is supposed to be used for. (God) also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu etc. For the original New Testament before king Constantine changed so many things google gospelofthenazirenes.co It is so enlivening.

Do you want to cite your assumption or are you just using an active imagination.
None of your cites have anything to do with faith at birth. Would you please retract your question or repair your errors.
Here's Romans 12:3
according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
according to the measure of faith which God has given him-Con corresponding to the degree of faith which God has assigned to each -Mof
judging himself by the degree of faith God has allowed him - Gspd measuring your value by how much faith God has given you-Tay
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You are proving that Christian's will even misread their Bible to win a point. That's five Bibles I've scanned for the truth using your Cite.....Their is NO backing for your question.

Yes, I thank God for my talents every day. He has given me the ability to do two things well. Communicate and be empathic. I have never done anything to try to improve on what he gave me with at the start. It is just there, so no I do not take credit for it.

Since we are made in the image of God, we are children of God and have Him "wired" into our brains we can think like him and knowing he exists, I believe, gives us automatic faith and we just have to practice using it...its there for the taking...
As for the talent...I have not been broadsided with this information...I do rely on discernment and in that I am trusting God and I am a demonstrative worshiper...would that be one...I'll take it as one...My husband says I am "strong".
I probably spend to much time believing that I have so many personality issues to work on, it's hard to see myself as God does, but when I get a glimpse of what he sees, I go to bawling'...
He's so good :)...That's right, I AM wonderfully made. Thank you for reminding us of this fact!

You know, I have never thought to thank God for my talent, but I should. So here and now... thank you Lord for the gift you gave me of being able to relate to children and giving me the ability to teach them life's lessons.
I knew the talent was not something I had come up with on my own, but I guess I just never thought to thank God for it. Thanks for the post!

one talent? I have hundreds. I am instantly good at damned near everything, and it's more of a curse than a blessing--employers use you, friends get hurt feelings, and none of it amounts to anything because everything has already been done and today fame and fortune go to the one who's had the most plastic surgery, and talent has nothing to do with anything

Yes I have...I love drama and am good at it...I spent 8 1/2 years in a Christian Drama company and I do thank Him...at the moment He's led me to study to be a licensed minister....I thank Him all the time...And I'm currently thanking Him for a long term temp assignment...lately they had all been short term.
Thanks for the reminder to thank Him.
Blessings,

I give him as much credit as possible. I dont believe we are all born with faith, I think it is aquired in part by Gods will and our acceptance of it. I believe for instance that the people who had Jesus executed were faithless. Here they had Gods goodness, truth, and miracles all in the flesh right in front of them and they were afraid and hate-filled toward them. I dont see any faith there.
