They appear as humans to help and guide us, to give us advice, and generally help us, when things look darkest.....

Earth Angels are, Angels that take on human form to interact with us, like the mysterious stranger.... Angels are not born on earth, although some humans can be angel-like, and i do believe that some humans can become Angels, when they have become a true spiritual being, and pass over..... Angels are full of Love, and radiate it, and those sensitive enough, or just open to it, can experience that Love..... I have !
Angels are my friends !
Blessings.

Angels on earth would have been human, then died, then been resurrected and returned to earth (temporarily). Angels are not a race separate from human beings - we are all God's children (and human) just in different states of progression. An angel is a human who has not yet been born, or who has lived and died. Some angels have also been resurected.

Something a bit like an "earth angel":

The Bible speaks of a man - John the Beloved - who Jesus granted the power to live until Jesus returned at the Second Coming. John wanted this power so that he could be a better instrument in bringing about the Lord's purposes on earth. So John the Beloved is still walking around somewhere here on Earth, doing good, according to the Lord's wisdom and discretion.

Yeah, angels and fallen angels are indeed a huge subject, and there's no easy starting point, but there are several things to keep in mind when looking at the subject. I believe they exist, but, unlike most of the fundies I've met, I don't believe they act anything like humans. And many apocryphal texts (texts cut from the bible) explicitly mention that, the further from humans and closer to god an angel is (the higher its choir), the less human they look and think. Fallen angels present one hell of a theological paradox, if you'll pardon the pun, because we have one huge logical problem in the tale of the fall itself. Here's the summary: If God is omniscient (sees everything), omnipotent (all-powerful), and omnicognizant (knows everything), then how could the fall have happened without his permission? My own theory? it didn't, and it was part of the plan. People think of hell as lakes of fire and all that stuff, but there appears to be little evidence for this in the bible itself or the apocryphal texts, so my own theory goes thus: Hell is a place *everyone* goes to, not because they've broken any of the commandments, or because they *chose* to sin, but because Hell embodies the consequences of *all* your actions. It removes preconceptions, and cleanses you. But the biggest, and most annoying fallacy I've ever seen is one based on human ego, and if you look, you'll find answerers who embody this fallible viewpoint. Basically, Angels follow God's orders, and God's orders alone. They don't think like us, and if they really are immortal in the sense they can't die of old age or sickness, then they won't think in terms of days, or weeks, or even years and centuries, like we do. They see the *looooong* picture. And, since the Fallen are, essentially, rebel angels, they too see time, and indeed everything else, differently to us. So why would they go around looking like dead people, or rattle pots and pans around to take your SOUUULLLLL... when they can just sit back, and wait. This makes a lot more sense than many fearmongering fundies I've met, who claim that ghosts, shades, etc, are all DEMONNNSSS! Anyway, hope that all helped.

You are really not supposed to know because like Glenn Beck's famous line "Your head might explode," but they are rulers of their human subjects (one per person) who apparently once usually but not always also lived on the earth, and who might again when they are done with their work of guidance and testing and evaluating humans on whether they do the right or wrong thing.

They are the writers of all human experience with help from their higher sources all the way to our supreme God our creator. They exist in a gaseous state and never sleep. You are never alone. They are known as (life) movie Gods (or to most people in their less intimidating persona as Guardian angels). They write your life movie which you have some degree of control within the parameters of which they create and write for you.

He says that his angels are "in camped around us" to "keep charge over us in all our ways". Angels are invisible, just like the wind. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there type of thing. Also, they are not human, so they are not "born" or "live a full [human] life span". Read your bible, for more information.

Hi, onelight.

Angels among us are usually Guardian Angels. Everyone who listens to his/her conscience develops a "relationship" with his/her Guardian Angel. Their special mission is to help take care of us. They guide us and help protect us. They often "speak to us" through our intuition.

What's more, it's important for us to acknowledge our personal Guardian Angel. They like to know we are glad they are with us. In order to do this, all we have to do is think of them. However, there ARE prayers of thanks for and acknowledgment of our Guardian Angels, as well as prayers in which we ask them for their guidance and protection.

Angels are not humans and, therefore, cannot be born like humans are. There is no such thing as an "Earth Angel".

Angels are pure, spiritual beings. They are invisible and, since the time of Christ, they have no longer actually taken on human form. However, like us, they have Free Will. In other words, they make choices of their own, just like we do, even though they serve God and us.

Here are some Bible verses regarding Guardian Angels:

"He will send His angel before thee" (Genesis 24:7).

Although the following Biblical verses will not of themselves demonstrate that every individual has his appointed guardian angel.......

(Genesis 16:6-32; Hosea 12:4; 1 Kings 19:5; Acts 12:7; Psalm 33:8),

....just the same, the verses above receive their complement in Christ's Words:

"See that you despise not one of these little ones [children]; for I say to you that their angels in Heaven always see the face of My Father Who is in Heaven" (Matthew 18:10)

I hope this helps to answer your questions, onelight.

Hello onelight! you received very interesting feedback to your question by everyone. i especially like Senecas thoughts towards angels! Thanks ~C~. my belief is "angels" are "our" correct thinking in accord to the harmony of our universe. we all are angels @ some point or another in our dream. ie; healing through teaching and teaching through healing. "we all our each others guardian angel" when we allow ourselves to be.. just a few thoughts about what angels mean to me.

I have a quote to share with you onelight. "let's unite together and make the oceans believe that there no longer a mystery to what lies beneath" by ONEMIND

I love Itsimplyis answer. Direct pointing. To know ourselves, what needs to be done? I saw a tree last week, fairly big it was, it's branches went out crazy and were majestic at the same time, as my eye was drawn closer I saw it had been struck by lighting, I smiled.
