What did you do on your 1st blind date? I'm going on one this week? What do you talk about when there is a lull in the conversation?

Ask a questions. If it becomes silent and uncomfortable then ask i question about the other person that could end up in a converstation. I find that asking the other persona bout their family, work etc. that gets the conversation going. People love talking about themselves all you gotta do is ask :)

Goodluck! hope you have heaps of fun!

I did dinner on my first blind date but I did just drinks too.

Have some things in mind to talk about in case there is a lull...ask them about family, friends, their job, where they grew up, what their dating experiences have been like so far... it also helps to keep up on current news topics... you can always bring up Baldwin or something if you are out of convo...

Good luck!

I've never been on one, but if there was a lull in a conversation, begin a new topic... such as, "So, what's your family like?" "What kinds of jobs have you had" Things like that. People love to discuss things they know something about... keep hitting ideas until you find something you are both passionate about. Photography, hobbies, you know?

I've never been on a blind date. Sounds fun, but then again it can turn out to be a nightmare....
Talk about something fun. Talk about how you view life. Get into something deep.

OMG you're in luck! Just had a blind date yesterday. We went to a restaurant for dinner...it was a casual place, and we just took it slow and let the conversation flow. It was a blast. Just stay as relaxed as you can and let events unfold as they will. Good luck! Hope you have as much fun as I did!

Blind dates are always awkward ... you will both be nervous but just keep it light - talk about general interests, work, school, hobbies, etc. You'll be fine. Smile, that always keeps the moment comfortable. Good luck

Do not have high expectations. Ask open ended questions about the other person. Do not get too personal and avoid politics and religion at first. Avoid sad topics like Virginia Tech shootings.
What do you like to do when you are not studying, working ?
Where did you travel and what was it like there?
People love to talk about themselves. Give them the chance.

Wait if this guy turns out to not be your type, fake an asthma attack. lol. haha. Uhm anyway, just be yourself. Keep questions coming and tell jokes, discuss current events. ask about his interests. his pets. a movie you had just watched. and tell him stuffs about yourself. its just like meeting a new friend.

I went on ablind date and this is how it went.
$30.00 fill up on gas tank.
$ 9.00 two packs of cigarettes
$ 50.00 dinner at Applebees

A total of $89.00 and all I got was a kiss on the cheek and goodnight when it was over.
Screw that, for $10.00 and a condom I could have a street Crack whhore cheaper.
