Hi, I am in need of determining the manufacturing process used for water supply angle valves. Please Help?

Hi. I need to know the exact steps and amnufacturing processes used to create an angle valve for water supply. This is the valve for toilets, some sinks, etc. There is more than one piece to the valve. I need the process from raw material to machining. I also would like to know the typical steel used and an accurately estimated yearly production if available. Thanks for your input. :)

At this time of night I can just throw in some of the parts of the answer.

The valves are typically brass not steel. They are castings that are machined to add threads to hold the stem and the top cap and to hold the waste cap (if it is a stop and waste supply valve), the socket for the valve seat, and if not a soldered-in valve also to take the supply pipe threads. Some fancier valves are chrome plated.

The only not-metal parts are the rubber washer that presses on the valve seat and the one that encircles the stem.

I have no idea about quantities of production.
