People get so upset if you question there religion, but they try to convert you to their religion. I think it is BS and I will say it to your face. When you don't like what you hear, you will remove yourself from my presence. I will keep saying it, cuz I'm so sick of listening to ignorance trying to infiltrate our laws and these religious a$$holes pushing their beliefs onto others.
In Minnesota, Muslim cabbies won't pick you up if you smell like, or possess, alcohol. They won't scan your bacon at the grocery store. Christian pharmacists will not sell you birth contol.
It's against their "moral fabric". Where does it stop? First time this effects me, I will burn this "moral fabric" cuz I have no more patience for it.

I brought out all of you thin-skinned ***-bags from behind your crosses, and gave you a forum to reveal how ignorant you are.
Some of you who answered this, have answered like 2600+ questions and asked only 2. Alot of you sure know alot about the afterlife. How do you have this info? Scriptures? One's that were written back when there were sun-gods and they sacrificed people. I would rather go to hell, cuz there would be better company there.
Look at how sensitve you are when it comes to your religion. Are you that insecure? You are all so sure of everything. Why is your god so evil as to let people starve? Genocide? War? Bush? Why is it OK for the 700 club to steal in the name of god? Why do they hide the pedofile preists from justice? You god lovin assholes answer me that!

More importantly, I would like to share with you the Truth about the afterlife. I only tell you this because I care what will happen to you when you die. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, used God’s name in vain? These are just a few of God’s Moral Laws. When you die, God will judge you on the basis of His Moral Law. If you stand guilty before God of breaking His Laws, He will send you to Hell. If God is Just and Holy, He must punish lawbreakers. The good news is that God provided a way for you to be forgiven and go to Heaven. Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose again to pay the debt for your sins and take your punishment. What you must do is Repent, which means to say you are sorry to God and turn away from your sins. Then put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. Only then will you be accepted into Heaven, not because you’re a good person, but because you’re a bad person who’s been forgiven. Please give this some thought. Your Eternal Destination depends on it.

All right, I'm agnostic, but your presentation of this question annoyed the hell out of me.
1. People believe in a higher power because they choose to. The same question could be applied to you and ask why you are stupid enough not to believe in one.
2. You think that those who truly believe in a god should give up their medical care? Possibly because of a little thing known as pain. No one wants to go through illness without something to make them feel better.
3. Evolution doesn't clash with a belief in God at all, so don't even bring that up.
4. Those 2 religions don't equal a belief in a god. You've only touched the tip of the spectrum of higher deities on organized religion, and haven't even thought about a higher power in a more deistic sence among other beliefs.
In conclusion, do I think many who believe in God are stupid and closed minded? Yes, but no more so than you are.

MIost stupid one are scared of death and want to believe in after life. One God does not answer any prayers. If he indeed existed he could easily be characterized as an evil God. A long prosperous or healthy life does not deal with deserving good morals or having a strong faith it is just the way the ball bounces. How many millions have died in believing that there prayers were answers. From child hood we are taught to believe in miracles and that our strong faith will over come it all through the love of Jesus Christ. However when we all come to reality, we see that faith and the believe of God is all one big lie. How many people have died believing in all of this promises that time and time again let them down believing and sacrificing all for a non existing God.

Dudeman, I respect your unbelief and you have the right to express it. But do you need to call the believers stupid? It does not help people you want to get out of the box. If you are serious with your stand maybe it would be better to present it in the most respectable manner a decent human should do.
There are great medical doctors who happen to believe in Jesus, Allah and Mohammed. If you are sick of hearing their names, I just hope you fall into the hands of a believer that help clear you from that sickness.
Some of them are having thoughts in believing in evolution so you might try to be kinder the next time you make a comment.

Most people who think they believe in god do so only to comfort themselves and provide them with a ritualistic distraction from their problems, questions, and eventuality, putting the responsibility for their future in the hands of a babbling and deceitful clergy who tickle the ears of ignorant masses for financial gain.
This is evidenced by the fact that they completely ignore and disrespect the teachings found in their supposed guide the bible and the qualities of their supposed god.
None of these people believe in god as he is presented in the scriptures they claim to believe, they are afraid to think, afraid to learn, afraid to work to find out what is true, as are the evolutionists who cling to ideas that are rapidly losing popularity in the scientific world.
