Thank you again for your responses. It seems that in your fervor to support scientific theorems and methodology that science is failing to see the obvious that and realistic scientific knowledge gained is welcome by theists because it validates the teaching of Christianity that it is the creation that is the best proof of God. But, of course, you have proven that science is blinded by denial of that fact. It is not necessary to attack me and other Christians personally alleging that we do not see as you because we are intellectually inferior, deprived of training or brainwashed into believing in God without reason. Personally, I have a degree in biology and do have some knowledge of scientific theory as do many other Christians. Most of us do not resemble the caricature you create for us and persisting to label us this way does not support your statements of being open to intelligent design. Are you really or just making excuses for your closed minds?

The biggest hole I see in the Big Bang is the sudden appearance of Life, there can be no Life without a supernatural force when only there is elements. I respect others opinion of Life and creation, BUT, I am interested to know evolutionists theories on Life and its origin. I do accept email. May the Stars Light your path, and God be with you...

You say that "creation is the best proof of god". In that case, conversation ended. The universe, what you call creation, provides no proof of god, whatsoever.

As I stated as an answer to your previous question, science does not have all the answers, but the answers it DOES have are far more persuasive then your ancient mysticism.

Your opinion is as it is. You can go on with question IX and question XX and question M if you want to, but you won't change our minds. Fine, you have a degree in biology, but that doesn't make your opinion correct, and it certainly doesn't guarantee to the rest of us that you are a competent scientist. You might be highly educated, but with all that knowledge you still can't comprehend why the majority of your colleagues disagree with your position, and why you can't even convince us unenlightened, uneducated souls, here on YA why there is a god, and that ID is something that should be examined by science.

Opinions that aren't rooted in reality can't be tested by science. If you can't construct an experiment to test your theory, then your theory is just an opinion.

I haven't seen anybody here attacking you. I see a lot of people being honest. If you feel attacked, then that is your own perception and reaction to honesty. anyway, you invited the circumstances, by pounding away at your point with so many redundant questions.

Hmm. I just looked over a few of your recent questions, and there's no sign that you understand anything about science. Frankly, you sound like a child imitating the kinds of comments about science that one might hear in television shows and New Age advertisements.

This being the internet, there doesn't seem to be any good reason to believe that you really do have a degree in biology or any scientific knowledge, and the fact that you're apparently a supporter of "intelligent design" reinforces my suspicion that you just made those things up.

Don't confuse stubborness for wisdom. No-one else will.

You still don'y get it after 8 tries. I guess you never will. For the last time the whole genesis creation myth is based on the assumption that god exists. There are two creation accounts in it also. Plus the genesis account of creation is the same for the jews and christians. And if you weren't so biased, the islam creation myth actually makes more sense than the judaeo-christain one.

certainly the climate and earthquake scientists are quite darned precise. look at this typhoon Gustov. they have all of it the way down to in the hour and interior of a few 25 mile stretch of land of the place this is going to hit with this is complete stress the following day. What extra do you %? the extremely highway handle or what? regardless of if the huge Bang concept replaced into no longer extraordinary, it would not replace the end result---the here and on the instant of our life. It would not replace a component particularly.

Isn't attributing every scientific discovery and theory to Christianity a little elitist? Scientists do most of the hard work and then religion uses that hard work and takes credit for it as a validation for a few choice passages in their holy book.

"Are you really or just making excuses for your closed minds?"

I am open minded. You have just, thoroughly invalidated the premise of your trivial rant with the only question you asked. You, yourself, said, "It is not necessary to attack me and other Christians personally...", and then you chose to use a blanket accusation of closed-mindedness.

You stated that "...science is failing to see the obvious that and realistic scientific knowledge gained is welcome by theists...", yet you present no evidence that supports that hypothesis. You talk of science, but all I see is poorly thought out and vapid rhetoric.

No real scientist is open to intelligent design, it is not science and makes no testable claims.

That is the case whether or not you have a degree in biology, I have a philosophy degree, yet I would never claim to be a philosopher.

And you get it because it is written in a book by a lunatic a few thousand years ago saying his imaginary master created the earth 6000 - 10000 years ago?

Now, who is the closed minded one, the one that is researching and trying to find the truth or the one that insisted that the book is the truth without any proof, just belief?

Hey skippy... you're not going to get anywhere by mudslinging.

Do as the previous answerers requested and start putting your money where your mouth is.

Provide evidence for intelligent design/creationism, or stfu.

Many insubstantiated, rambling, and generalizing statements loosely coupled to a rhetorical leading question.

This is a violation of the terms of use.
Don't use Y!A as a soapbox.
