someone i know goes to college and staff people found a student playing with guns, how is it to be safe?

my friend goes to college and a student was arrested because staff heard gun shots, so i was wondering how could my friend be safe with all of the school/college shootings that have happened and to make sure it does not happen at his school?

There is no guarantee that anyone is always going to be safe. Your friend needs to constantly aware of what is going on around him or her and report any suspicious behavior. Althought it is not politically correct, I do believe that having a permit to carry a concealed weapon and doing so whenever the law allows can help increase one's ability to be safe
