I think of my grandmother who was our only Mormon family member, and how Mormons provide for and take care of their families.

1st thing is "false teaching", mis-informed, etc. because:
Paul the Apostle taught in scripture that if anyone comes teaching "another gospel" or anything other than what he already taught, even if it were an angel from heaven, it was heresy and false and should be rejected.
Then, here comes an supposed angel named Maronni (?) and some man named Joseph Smith with "another gospel".
It's heresy and false and is rejected by those who know the Lord's word and scripture. Also, it contradicts much of the original gospel.
I think, "poor misguided souls", they are duped and if they don't quit following a false prophet they will wind up in hell.
Also, the "other sheep not of this fold" scripture used so often is out of context and was referring to Gentiles other than just Jews; who were the first Jesus followers and believers.
I do thing it has some 'good works' and very supportive of 'family', but just off the true path by this "other gospel' mess.

Please do not be offended, but you did ask. The word that comes to my mind is inconsistancy. The Book of Mormon is supposed to be another Testament of Jesus Christ, but it contradicts both the preexisting testaments. Then there is the matter of Coca Cola. Mormons could not drink it until the Mormon church bought it. Now mind you, Mormons do not have a monopoly on inconsistancy, but to me there is an inordinate amount of inconsistancy in what the Mormons teach.

Personally, I think of one of my favorite authors : Orson Scott Card. He's an amazing writer, and a Mormon. That's the very first thing that comes to my mind.

Anybody that adds to the Word of God is subverting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Also Christ has not returned in the form of John Smith.

Missionaries. Missionaries because I see mormon missionaries wherever I move. They stand out with their white shirts, ties and name tags. I don't see missionaries from other religions or at least they don't stand out the way LDS missionaries stand out. It's not bad or good.
