No, lemon juice will not hurt your face nor skin. Here's a tip: mix a couple of tablespoons and lemon juice and one egg white, whisk together until frothy, put in your face with your finger tips and let dry; this is an inexpensive facial that will dry out zits. And as far as lightening your skin, lemon juice will not do the trick. I would start by researching high end salons that carry mild creams will bleach in it. I doubt these creams will be available in regular stores, so look for pricey beauty suppliers in your town or on the internet.

Lemon juice will not hurt your skin, but it stings badly if you have a cut or a wound as it is really acidic. It do not really lighten the skin, it only helps to lighten freckles and clarify the skin.

When Iwas a kidpeople used lemon to bleach freckles out. I doubt it works for skin lightening. Why would you want to do that. I am Irish white and spend all my time with self tanners trying to get some color.

NO! putting lemon in your skin is not bad it helps you remove your dead skins cells and clarify your skin. Try mixing it with sugar like making a cream with sugar and lemon. Put it on a cleansed face in a circular motion and leave on as a mask for 5 minutes. rinse it off completely and you will see for yourself. ;)
CAUTION!! MAKE SURE U DONT HAVE CUTS OR ANYTHING OF THE KIND OR IT WILL STING!!!

Lemon is really to acidic to put on skin especially your face. Try using a sunblock with a higher SPF that blocks UVA and UVB rays.
