I did this last weekend and I did it again this weekend. I plan to keep doing this once a week. I use magnetic rollers and metal clips.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but anytime you roller set your hair, it should be wet or damp. If you have set your hair and take it down while still damp, the set will not hold.

I didn't know anyone used rollers any more. I stopped them and went to a curling iron 30 years ago! I can't imagine sleeping on those things like I did when I was a teen.
Oy, what we did for "beauty!"
My advice: dump the rollers. Get a decent stylist to cut your hair so that you don't have to do much at all with it.
I cut my own and because the cut is "less than ideal," I have to fool around with a curling iron to get it to look like I didn't do anything at all with it. But I just don't like to spend $100 on a cut.

I did it once and never did it again. What's the use? I'm going to flat iron afterward.
