I am currently certified to teach K-12 LD students in the Commonwealth Of VA. And I am NOT talking about student loans. I cannot borrow another penny for school! I have already borrowed over $30,000!

Unfortunately, Pell Grants do not exist on the graduate school level and end when a student receives their first bachelors degree. Have you checked with the human resources department with your school district. Virginia does have a program for teachers working on their masters degree. The bad part about Title IV assistance is that once you get your Bachelor degree, you are no longer eligible for grants such as Pell, SEOG, or other state grants. At this point, you could try for scholarships.

Check the university/college you plan to attend or are attending first because they usually have continuing education scholarships. Go to www.fastweb.com and see what you can find there.
