"This crime called blasphemy was invented by priests for the purpose of defending doctrines not able to take care of themselves."

nicely, we won't be able to say with certainty that God is the sufferer, considering the incontrovertible fact that may no longer provable. the sole entity which could be knowable as a sufferer is one's self. So now i'm questioning with reference to the definition of sufferer. this is the place it have been given puzzling. Definitions distinctive. some definitions mentioned "harmed", and one mentioned, "a guy or woman who suffers" ok, so....whilst blasphemy happens, is anybody harmed? i do no longer understand. Does every person go through? sure, this i understand. I certainly have study blasphemy that made me so uncomfortable I suffered. Does this advise that persons don't have the "appropriate" to blapheme? this is not any longer the question here. The question is, "Is blasphemy a victimless crime?" finally, is it a criminal offense? it must be. i do no longer understand each regulation on the books in the international. So this is a sprint puzzling to respond to.

You know, I kinda feel the same way. I mean, if it's so bad, why don't the victims come forth. Is it like some other crimes, where the victims are afraid of their attackers so they just keep quiet instead of testify? Are they in a blasphemee relocation program? I just never seem to see or hear about blasphemy victims.

Maybe because it is a victimless crime.

And who is the victim? Gods? Their followers? If we banned things like blasphemy because they offended other people, we wouldn't have free speech or democracy.

All hail the spaghetti monster. And the tin foil kid from South Park!

Cheers!

It's not. It's the same as making a rude comment to someone.

For example: Southpark is stupid and people who like it are generally unintelligent.

I'm atheist by the way.

Posted above: "Cause it is, no ones hurt, just offended or pissed..."

People get offended or pissed because you hurt them.

That's too funny. Thank you!

And on that note I'm calling it a day and reading in bed until I fall asleep. Sweet dreams...
