This is not a fair fight and would most definetly be a great big man vs a great little man. Sugar Ray Robinson was a welter and middleweight champion fighting most of his career at about 160 lbs and Ali was a multi heavyweight champion usually weighing about 215 lbs. so there would be about a 55 lb weight advantage for Ali plus about 4 inches in height. Both are all time greats but this one couldn't have happened because of the size difference.

I can almost guarantee none of you were alive during sugar rays time, but you choose him just because of the legend of him, and because of the hate against Floyd. You hate on floyd because his attitude I would presume, but all boxers and fighters act this way tbh, lol. But here s the facts, not many of us here actually fully know or understand how Sugar Ray fought...boxing has evolved greatly and that s just the thing if you just threw sugar Ray into the ring with a prime floyd then floyd just simply understands boxing better, because he has been able to study all the greats from the past, but sugar Ray wasn t able to study floyd....floyd would win easily lol, no matter how much you hate on him or wish he was terrible it doesn t really matter, his record isn t even what says most about him the guy is insanely quick, he s never even been knocked down as a professional fighter lolol hate all you want, Floyd wins EASY

Ali by virtue of size. Robinson went 170, Ali 220.

Are you nuts? You're pitting a heavyweight against a welterweight/middleweight and it's a gross mismatch! Ray Robinson was the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in history. But no matter how good he was, if you'll match him up against a heavyweight who's about 60 pounds heavier, 5 inches taller and as equally fast and skilled as Ali, he wouldn't stand a chance. Worse, he might get killed by Ali. It's like matching up Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Tyson.

Couldn't and wouldn't have happened, Robinson was way too small to fight Ali. Ali would have dominated him by sheer size.

This question is the equivalent of asking "who would win, Lennox Lewis or Manny Pacquio?" Cant have the matchup, not comparable sizes.

Ali- "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. You can't hit what you can't see." He was so dominant.
