Do you find yourself cleaning when there's a paper or assignment due the next day?

Any time I have a major paper or assignmnet due I always find myself cleaning my room, kitchen, living room...etc.
Like this week I had tons of work to complete for my biology class and I found myself anxious to clean...the only problem was that my room was already extremely clean so I ended up cleaning underneath my bed!
Do you do this too or am I the only one?????

You are not alone! However, You've got some big procrastination issues! Set yourself small goals; come up with the title and the topic, and write an introductory sentence. Then in another day or two do a little research, or write another few topic sentences. Or set yourself a goal of two bio questions per day and balance your due date for the assignment so it's all done by the time it's supposed to be turned in. Make yourself a deal like this or else you will be using these same avoidance tactics of cleaning instead of studying and it will only get more difficult to catch up later.

I used to clean our house before doing my homework or before studying. It's because a clean environment inspires me to organize my thoughts, too..... I'm like that until now.
