I have an innate talent of drawing and painting. I can make great paintings so much better than those of Leonardo daVinchi, monet, and so much better than a lot of other old painters. But there is no way for me to be recognized unless I'm dead more than 50 years ago. What's up with that?

Check out artists like Kinkade and Damian Hirst. They are relatively young guys and they make a lot of money. Come up with some new ideas, not just copying old ones and you might be famous and rich like the artists you are talking about.
