I am not confident... especially around guys. I like two of my friends but I don't have the guts to talk to them unless they talk to me first. And i'm not that cute... what do i do?

aw honey. just try to be confident. act like you are if youre not sure and it will come naturally. wear your favorite clothes so you know you look good when youre with them and just be yourself. you'll be fine =]

You need to believe in yourself to make anything happen, whether that be socially, professionally, academically, in life in the every day.
I am sorry you have little confidence and obviously this is not easy when you are around your friends. I suggest you write down 5 things you like about yourself and really focus in on whatever they may be. And while you may not believe you are cute, this is the energy you are putting out to the world so is reflected back at you.
From someone who knows all too well this well-trodden path, look at what you do like about yourself and really focus on those areas. Be kind to yourself, do not give yourself grief and just know you are a special, wonderful being. Here for a reason and ready to take on the world.

Work on your confidence. That is the most important. And what makes you think that you are not that cute? Also, personality is a huge factor too. Work on those things and talking to guys will become easier cause you will see yourself as an equal and not an inferior. I was the same... thought I was ugly and couldn't talk to people. Then I joined groups, took care of how I dressed and spoke... I wanted to be intelligent, warm and sexy. And if you feel it, you exude it!

Sounds like you're under a lot of pressure, but it's just pressure you're putting on yourself. Relax. Conversation is just conversation. Surely these guys are as insecure as you feel, some people just hide it better.
They're just people, too. If you like them, just talk to them and see how it develops. No pressure. And there are lots of fish in the sea, too, remember.
Everything gets easier with experience, so go out there and hit it, and in time you'll be chatty McChatterson.
