I have been told over and over that God loves me. He loves everyone. But does he love anyone more than anyone else? Does he love sick child molesters the same amount that he loves faithful Christians? If so, what is the point in being faithful to God? What if the sick child molester accepted God into his heart and goes to church every Sunday? Do faithful Christians stand at the same level to God?

Christ died for the sinner..child molesters, murderers etc are all sinners..and doesn't scripture say that if we think something then we have done it? Have you never been so angry you thought about doing something bad? Have you never had disgusating thoughts? If you have, like most of us, then you have committed those offences also.
We are to love our enemies...we are also to look at the log in our own eyes..and yes, if a child molester..or murderer etc truly does their time, truly repents etc..in the eyes of God they are as forgiven as anyone else. However, part of those peoples punishment I guess, is how the world will react to them..but in God's eyes, if they have truly repented and turned from that sin..their slate is clean.

God does love everybody and He wants everybody to come to know Him.

Those that come to know and love God have a personal relationship with Him.

He wants the sick child molesters to stop being sick child molesters. He commands us that if we hurt somebody we are first to do what we can to make it right (not that anything can really take the pain of being molested away), and then ask Him for forgiveness. If the sick child molester repented, apologized, and changed his ways because he came to know God, that would be a good thing.

Good questions the bible says that God loves every human equally and even animals are not put beneath a human, all came from dust and to dust we will return. God still loves the child molestor and if they are to repent then all will be forgiven a child molesters sin is no worse than that of an adulterer. No human can stand at the same level as God if we could then we would not need Him. He is above all and the Lord Jesus is above us.

My view on it all is that God loves everyone just like a parent. Your parents will love you NO MATTER WHAT (or at least they should) but that doesnt mean that they arent going to be disappointed in you. It doesnt even mean that they have to LIKE you... but the LOVE is unconditional!!

As far as those sick child molesters... well... I dont personally think they they are worthy of Gods love... but like I said, I think the love is unconditional. But I also personally believe that if you turn your back on God (which I believe molesters have) then you wont get into Heaven (which is where the point of being faithful comes in). However, if "in the end" they ask for forgiveness and once again open thier heart to God (and TRULY TRULY mean it) then like I said, the love is unconditional and that God will welcome them back into His loving embrace.

I also think that God DOES love everyone equally... just like parents. I LOVE both of my children the same. I may not LIKE them the same as they go through certain times in their lives (for example my 4 yr old is HARD to love at times right now but my 1 yr old is innocent and doesnt know right from wrong yet so its much easier to take it "easy" on her). I feel like if you live your life the best way that you can and if you constantly TRY and be a good person and be loving, honest and accepting then He will love you just as much as Mother Teresa (for example).

Its like the saying "What goes around comes around." If you do good then you should be able to expect good things to come your way! Hope that helps... but again I am only one person with one idea on how things might be in Gods eyes. Only HE knows for sure!

God created all people, so He loves all people, and reaches out to all people, but those who obey Him become His children... Not all people are His children. Christ said that some people have Satan as their father...
Proverbs 1:24 God says, "But since you rejected Me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand, since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh at your disaster, I will mock when calamity overtakes you... clearly He is angry in this passage.
Also, "not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but ONLY he who does the will of My Father" Matthew 7:21
There is good reason for this - God is Holy..ff He were to let anyone into Heaven, it wouldn't be very heavenly would it!
So, yes, I would say God loves everyone, He wants a relationship with everyone, but He loves His children best and these are the ones who live with Him for eternity.
As far as the 'sick child molester' you mention - should he sincerely repent, and ask God to come into his life, he is made new, born again... God loves Him as His own child.. but why pick on the child molesters? In God's eyes, a sin, whether big or small is still a sin. Jesus said that just by thinking of adultery we sin... I think we too often think that the sins of others are worse than our own, and this brings us comfort, but the truth is, we all need forgiveness. After we ask God into our lives, we are forgiven forever. He is no longer angry with us, but He will discipline us, just as any good parent would.

I think the parable about the prodigal son was meant to be a measure of a person's self-righteousness and of the hardness of their hearts. I've often had a problem with the reality that some murderer or child-molester (like my gay uncle) can do the evil they do and then in the end be forgiven. I would imagine God loves you if you'll only let him.

yes,,,God loves everyone the same, If you love God then you WANT to be faithful. God knows everyone's heart and he knows who is really sorry for their sins,,if your a christian, you have to accept Christ as your salvation in order to be saved and go to heaven, and yes, that means that even child molesters can be forgiven. your asking very good questions and if you are really interested you should find a bible study and learn more about it. you can try http://www.audiobiblestudy.org/ start at genesis

Even the best of us are just lucky that God loves us all and sent his son to die for our sins for ALL have fallen short. God knows the heart and what he has done all we as humans can do is put the molester in prison and tell him about the way of salvation. Jesus paid too high of a price for US to pick and choose and with my past I know I am counting on the grace of God.

God loves everyone!
He has created everything, and has created it all out of His love.
God loves everyone-
He hates the sin, but loves the sinner.
If the sinner accepted God into their heart, and went to church every Sunday- he would also have to change his way of life. He would not walk in the path of the ungodly, but in the pathway of the righteous. You have not really accepted Jesus Christ into your heart if you still do bad deeds. Of course, even humble people can do something sinful sometimes, they have fallen into temptation. But when this happens, they must recognize what they have done, and repent. Pray constantly. The bible says to pray unceasingly.
(Evil is the absence of God. and worrying means you are not putting your trust in God.)

God Bless

There is only one level of love that God offers, and it's His complete and total agape'.
The Bible says that God is not a respecter of persons, so His love to the faithful is equal to His love for the repentant. (As long as you understand that no one ever born since Adam is perfectly faithful. "All fall short of the glory of God."

So, technically, the premise of your question is incorrect. Mankind can never be classified as "faithful." All must repent of something. If you have repented, asked Jesus into your heart, and have fallen in love with God's Son, Jesus Christ, then you and I can look forward to sharing heaven with Son of Sam serial killer, David Berkowitz, and Jeffrey Dahmer.

The only exception would be those that reject God's free offer of forgiveness and salvation. These God would hate.
