You obviously don't have a true understanding of the Trinity. Christians believe in one God that takes on three roles: the father, the son, and the holy spirit.

Some Hindus state that they are actually monotheists, whereas some Buddhists will say that they aren't theists in the first place.
The God of *Logical Reason* has called the Trinity polytheism as well no matter how much some people believe otherwise.

If you ripped the warped concepts of Paul and the book of Revelations out of the New Testament, you would have more love for mankind that you can get with a different church on all four corners of an intersection.
Buddhism is a state of mine and you would have no idea how many gods there are in Hinduism.

Literally, Hinduism and Buddhism have many gods. But in Buddhism, Buddhists do not worship those gods but pay their respect to Buddha and his students while Gods are really important for Hinduism.

Christian Trinitarianism is as monotheistic as non Trinitarian Islam and Judaism. In Christianity there is One God,the God of Abraham, who is Eternal Love ,which means He is Love before creating anyone or anything. Therefore, God needs to be more than one hypostasis or "person'(not a finite or limited one though) or He would have no object to love and no reality to love as self-offering. For Trinitarian Christians ,there is one essence, substance, being and nature in God but there is diversity and distinction of personbut no separation.
I know Hindus who insist that there is only one God. I do not know Buddhists who are monotheists, but I do know many who would say that there is only one Ultimate Eternal Reality.I also know Buddhists who say that there is noGod,even though they believe in Nirvana, the "extinguishing" .

Technically speaking, Hinduism is monotheistic despite having over 330 Million (Yes, MILLION) deities, because all the deities are considered to be merely avatars or aspects of the one Brahma, and not independantly distinct beings.
