Not only taste like crappppp (thanks! it usually gives me all x's for this word!) but they mostly all contain "fructose" which is nothing less than poison but they don't want to tell you that as you don't see the damage until you're stuck with some awful disease which they say they have no idea how you could have gotten that and when they don't know what the "disease" is, they call it fibromyalgia and or chronic fatigue... Do you really mean to say that you don't like your veggies? Raw? They're the best.... OK... This is what you can do... Three of every sort of nuts you can get your hands on at the health food store as you want them "raw" for mornings... as to a replacement for the fruits, what I have isn't from a store so what you'll have to do is go and ask your health store clerk to help you with what the best thing is in your area... Greens are excellent for your health but take a bit of getting used to for some people and if you don't like good veggies, I don't know that you'll like them... but one thing as important as anything else you'll do is to remember to drink your 8 to 10 glasses of water a day... It's the most important thing you can actually do for your health bar none....
If you must take such a thing, go for "Ensure" which is better than "Carnation Instant Breakfast"!

I'll tell ya those bars are really all fat and carbs if you want the truth. They are meant for energy really. Not as a meal replacer. There is a lot of tasty, healthy foods. Get yourself a healthy cook book or go to fitness magazine or Shape magazine websites and check out some healthy recipies. Jello is great and really low fat. I love tofu and you can use it with so many things. Its all about the seasonaing really. Bake or saute your meat with the right seasoning and its all good for ya. Instead of bread crumbs you can use wheat Germ and honey..it gives the sweetness without all the fat and carbs. Little changes like that are all you need to eat healthy.
Good Luck!!

Have you tried soy patties? They aren't so bad. I enjoy them very much. And there are also veggie "poppers" with broccoli and cheese by Morningstar, if you eat them with white rice it's almost like chinese takeout w/out the guilt. (?) Well, it's an approximation of the flavor from my perspective.
Flat Earth brand snack crisps are labeled "healthy and tasty" made with rice, potato and pumpkin and they come in flavors like cheddar cheese, apple cinnamon, mango madness....look for them! I saw a stand of them in the grocery the other day and they cost $2.99 (in Calif). Or try Sun Chips. They are baked and very crunchy but less fat than normal potato chips/crisps too.
Have you tried making your own trailmix? Granola cereal mixed with fresh roasted peanuts, or dates, raisins, dried fruit, almonds and just about anything you wish.
Try yougurt. they say it's very healthful with the active cultures and such. The lowfat and nonfat ones are very good even.

I like Carnation Instant Breakfast. Tastes just like chocolate milk and has a bunch of vitamins and minerals in it. Although it's not as healthy as a piece of fruit or vegetable. But I agree with you about health bars. The only bar I've found that's remotely edible are Luna bars, S'mores flavor...

That's a personal opinion, personally I LOVE fruits and veggies. But since you don't, you could try things that are at least a little bit better for you than most.
Try eating tortilla chips and salsa instead of potato chips for example.
Also, some simple things to remember: always choose mustard over mayo, whole wheat over white. Pesto is second worst next to mayo, so try not to eat too much of that. All of it is okay in SMALL portions. Also, turkey is better for you than ham, and hamburgers are better than hot dogs.
Hope that gives you some ideas!

the is an old joke about what not to eat when going healthy. it says "if it tastes good, spit it out". most people try to enhance the taste of good foods by adding salt (sodium), or fats (butter, creams and gravies) Try starting with healthy foods and add spices. i's no substitute for what you used to eat but it will help.

Some snack foods are really good like granola bars, flavored rice cakes, and Kellogg Strawberry Snack Bites...even though it doesn't sound healthy...chocolate pudding is actually good for you.
