Whats a faster way to run on tipi toes or just normal

Naturally when you run properly you roll from the balls of you feet to the heel as you move. When running properly there is no fastest way to run its just the fastest *you* can run. Flat footed running puts much more pressure on your knees ,but running on complete tipi toes (enpointe) can easly put you off balance. so run at a pace your body can withstand allow your feet to roll as nature intented and have fun -suze

My guess is that running with full feet used would be faster. Seems like for most of us, running on toe uses more energy.
Interesting question, I wonder if ballet dancers can run faster on toe?

Seriously? The extra balancing you have to use to be on tip- toe would slow down a runner who was exercising to get a decent heart-rate before cooling down.

Moving your body through space is good exercise. If you are training for a race, ask those who run in races. Otherwise, whatever way you feel comfortable when you run is best for you.

With some kind of wild animal (maybe a lion ) chasing you. I guarantee you will never run as fast again- Especially if it catches you :)
