No. Thats why will all die now. And it was not sex that got them in trouble. It was disobedience itself. Thats why we have to work hard to get what we need.He cursed us to die. But now Jesus is our savior. We have a chance to live in Paradise.

No. Opening our eyes to what? How to be a sinner in the eyes of God, Christ Jesus? You tell us where is the benefit to dieing and going to hell because of sin?

No. He didn't open our eyes to anything. He only opened our hearts to sin. and now sin is the only thing that we live by and we are surrounded by it.The serpent didn't do anyone a favor. He only made things worse for God, God's children, and most of all, himself.

you mean by eating from the tree of knowledge, or is this a metaphor.
Perhaps it is better to be ignorant. Blessed in Eden with all you need, no fear etc better than knowing the truth. Or like those want to go back into the matrix rather than live in a difficult world. I do feel coming closer to truth is helpful at the moment and worth the difficulty.
But i see it as a grand metaphor or simile (i should check which). whisper whisper
the serpent is me, god is the pator who wishes to control you. As qouted above people say disobedience was to blame. It's software, the preacher is often as confused by it as anyone. It's software to maintain your obedience to the church. Don't seek truth or knowledge, just obedience. Where truth and knowledge are presented as a bad thing forbidden by your father. Wonder why. Hmmm?

Open to sin, gloom and doom. The serpent wrecked, wrecks, and will wreck the chance for many people to have their eyes open and opened to things far greater than anything he'll ever have to offer.
Satan didn't provide the option of free agency. God did.

Yes, Lucifer unknowingly fell into line of what God originally intended by testing Adam and Eve and allowing them free agency to act for themselves.
Had they obeyed God's commandment of not partaking the fruit they would have automatically disobeyed His other commandment of multiplying and replenishing the earth. Had the latter not occurred, we would not be here discussing this topic or anything else.

Actually yes I do. More correctly though, I think that Eve did us a favor by eating the fruit and offerinf it to Adam.

I don't even believe a serpent can talk, much less give a convincing argument that would make a person disobey an all-powerful god.
