Im sure some parents might not like the idea, but its better than the problems with a comparative religion class that might not be taught properly.

You still run into the same problem. Christian parents are not going to teach their child about Paganism in the same way they are going to teach their own religion. We've already got kids saying we're all Devil Worshippers... so I'd rather they didn't try to teach about other religions at all, but at least be open enough to their child that if he/she decided to go with something else, they should at least be able to accept that...

I know, I know! I'm asking for a lot.

The best way to show a child how great the Bible is, is to teach the beliefs of religions and outline the differences between religions and the beautiful relationship that can be had with the God that made the universe and everything in it. So, yes, I agree with you. We should not shy away from teaching the reality of religion as compared to a personal relationship with Christ.

once you say 'coach' it sounds incredibly heavy ... why no longer purely tell them thoughts of the Gods and Goddesses, and from the Bible and Koran and Qabbala? 'Unproven' is likewise a reliable observe - sure, i understand what you recommend, there is not any scientific foundation for them, yet thoughts and legends and ghosts and so on have been area of the final know-how for millenia and are area of our cultural background. Get the youngsters the thoughts, tell them, and finally the toddlers will make up their very own minds - yet interior the interim you're able to have inspired their mind's eye and that's no undesirable factor, is it?

Yes they should, to dam many parents do not take responsibility for their children, and if parents want their children to learn about religion then take them to church, let them experience it, and then teach them at home.

The bible teaches us that we are to bring a child up in the way he/she should go. I feel this means that parents should teach their children about God and Christianity at home. Additionally, they should be taken to church where they learn more about God and his teachings.

For one, parents will teach whatever they want, and most of the time, they teach their kids what THEY believe is right.

I personally, will teach my kids to have an open mind to anything and don't let people tell the what they apparently need to believe. and i will respect whatever they believe, even if I don't believe it.

i will teach them the moral to accept people as they are, and treat people you'd want to be treated

I think anything concerning religion or atheism should be left to the parents, and not the schools.

If creationism shouldn't be taught in school, than neither should evolution. All or nothing. Preferablely nothing.

You know, truly Jesus is for losers. Losers like me. I'm a big loser because the moment I lived, I had a sin already. It's from Adam. Jesus died for all the "losers" like me and you to lift us from this stage. He loves us and wants us to live with Him in Heaven.

Religion won't save you. Jesus will. No matter how many religions you know, it won't save you. Only Jesus can.

Yes but not forcing them to believe in what they believe.

In schools it should only be taught in private ones.

The only truly repsonsible thing would be to not teach religion at all.
