Father, Mother, Saint, Sinner, ect. And is this really according to you or the people that did the programing? Just what are "you'?

Goodfella: You are right. I thought well before asking this question for the reasons you mentioned, I decided that sometimes the negative needs to be brought out to know ourselves. Sometimes that is what works. We realise what we are not and through that we get a glimpse of reality. ~ : )

Proud of ? I am ashamed of my masks... and trying to lose all of them.
Or in other explanation I can say... I love all my masks and play the game of masks as i know my innocent, beautiful and blissful real face behind alll the temporary masks!!!

Airhead! Hahaha! Not even kidding! I am proud of having a mind that is open enough not to automatically reject ideas that could very well enrich my mind and spirit. However, I always question that...no matter how much I proclaim my open-mindedness, I realize there are probably things I am ignorant of and things I take for granted. I know there are veils I haven't drawn aside, but I hope someday, through continual seeking, to look beyond them and into them.
I embraced the idea of "airheadedness" long ago as a sort of mask to get people to tell me things they ordinarily wouldn't or to get away with saying and doing shocking things. I find it is a useful mask at times, a sort of ninja skill that I try to improve if I can. After all, how many of you will take something called "Spacebunny" seriously at first glance? It is a mask, a character cosplay, a game of sorts whereby I learn things and hopefully help others to learn too, even if it is at my own expense...

I'm afraid I am most proud of the label "smart"... I don't know why I get such validation from it.
(Edit: Maybe it has something to do with being a Gemini Sun Sign, with Leo Rising Sign. Geminis are very much motivated by intellect. I don't think my parents ever praised me for being smart, but school certainly did. I think they programmed me well to be a little studious robot. Gotta get validation somewhere, I guess.)

The fact that there is no mask that God can't see you through. Right down to your heart and soul, He knows you. He sees through it all and loves you anyway. No label and no mask can ever hide who you really are on the inside. You know it and so does everyone else.
The mask I use the most is the one that doesn't allow other people to see me cry or let other people in when I hurt. I am just thankful that I can't put it on and fool God. He always cuts right through all my crap and deals with the real issues and even though I hate this saying it is just sooooo appropriate right now so I'm gonna write it anyway. Praise God for that.

The hacker that did my programming, programmed a virus; luckily I had the remedy. What once malfunctioned, now has some quarks (due to my own fault for not updating my security suite.) heh.
This answer stemmed, of course, from the prodigy song, Poison. Lyrics::
I have the Posion,
I have the Remedy,
I have the Pulsating, Rythmical, Remedy...
I think these lyrics say it best. :-)

Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend - yes, equally proud of them all. That's my public face and how I justify my existence, because in my head I'm a hippie (1970's style!). ADD: Been thinking again about this very interesting question; I'm revising my answer to one word: 'Reliable' - the mask that's been mine since childhood. But it's been worn for so long, it's now a part of me, and the 'hippie' can't get out! (Left it a bit late now anyway).

well, i'm grateful and joyous for being a Christian, but it's nothing i earned, it's a gift that i accepted...father? well, any male of the right age, with working 'equipment' can be a father...there are plenty of fools out there who have fathered children and walked away...i would say the label i'm most proud of is 'daddy'...only two people in all the world can call me that, and they happen to be the two most wonderful people i have ever known-and yes, i do work at being a good daddy-it's the most important and rewarding job i have ever had...

I'm the most proud of military veteran. This is according to both me and the people that did the programming, as you put it. The experience was difficult and it was rewarding.
I'm the least proud of "wife" because I'm not an appendage. Besides, the word traces its etymology to the female pedunda. Gee, I want to be known as my husband's vagina, particularly since husband means to use and manage wisely.

Hi CD,
Interesting question.
It's of course not a good thing to 'label' yourself & be attached to the label, get proud, arrogant about it, etc...
But this question is framed in terms that are intrinsically 'dodgy', as you're asking people to confess who they think they are, in a fairly judgemental manner.
Don't get me wrong; am a fan, but a person's beliefs (wrong or right), are what define them.
The Q. is thus a bit inhumane - but got me to think. :-)
I think one can entertain labels without being attached to them.
It all lies in the way we "manage", them.
Best Wishes,
A. R.

Interesting question. I dont wear masks. and I dont use labels. BUt, as a child of GOd, there are roles that I play, that I love and am glad to be involved with. Number one I am a child of God, a follower of Jesus, and a Christian, which means follower of Jesus. Not a label, but a reality. And I am a mother and a wife, and a grandmother, and so much more. None are labels, they are all just part of ME, and who God made me to be. I enjoy them all. I used to let others define me and control me and I was a mess, till I met Jesus Christ. Now, noone controls me. Not even God, He gives me the free choice to think for myself, and thats precious. He doesnt want a bunch of mindless little robots serving Him. Its all choice. Hope and pray you choice Him soon. God said I have value, and I believe Him, and noone can tell me anything different, but tho GOd created me, He never controls me. He is not a God of control, and you know what. He gives us the Bible , our instruction booklet, His love letter to us, and expects us to control ourselves, as we lean on Him for wisdom and understanding. God is good.
My question is NOT what label do you wear, or what mask? My question is who programmed you to make you so afraid of finding the Lord Cuz, its all only good. I count it all as JOY. YOu have nothing to lose by finding Jesus, but if you dont find Him, you lose it all. Yet, something or someone has made you not want that, or to fear that, or you wouldnt write what you do, and thenmake a judgment we are programmed. No, once you find Jesus Christ, for the first time you are truly FREE. Free in Christ. No other freedom quite like it, but the devil doesnt want us to know that, and will do whatever he can to keep us from learning that. thru phony Christians, mean ppl, lifes circumstances, athiests, whatever... even false religion. But, God says there is no other way but Jesus Christ. I pra you find him soon, and that all previous programming is gone and that you are truly free. Free indeed.
