I usually don't, but you can if you like. Just be careful not to add too much. I do that more with omeletes. What I do add to my scrambled eggs is either cheddar or american cheese with bacon bits.

Only if I'm adding some cheese to eat...makes a better matrix for the melted cheese, I think. Otherwise, melt some butter, pour in the eggs, salt, pepper, and cook while stirring...

Yes, it makes eggs much fluffier than just water. and the flavor is better. I recommend using milk.

Prior to cooking them yes, just a splash. My dad used to make them that way and I guess it just stuck.

I don't like the water that it seems to cause to leach out of them.
