He was probably just a bit lazy, hence the reason loads of animals look the same. You can imagine his train of thought....Right that's man done, I need another 3 or 4 things similar, stretch it out up and across, paint it black, call it Gorilla, Paint the same thing Orange, call it Orangutan, shrink it and make it thinner, get rid of the Orange, call it George W Bush etc.

Darwin did indeed have quite an imagination. Check out his explanation for how land mammals went back into the sea and became whales.

As to why God made animals that are very similar to mankind it just shows that the Creator used similar parts to accomplish the same purpose in the animals that He made. That's why cars all have 4 tires and a steering wheel but no one would think that a Camaro "evolved" into a Corvette over time. They would just realize that they were similar machines with similar design features.

Because if there's not something to make a lie seem rational, who would believe it? And it was and is His purpose for, at least, some people to believe the lies of Satan and man. If you're standing in a downpour and I tell you it's not raining, you probably wouldn't believe me. But if I tell you the umbrella you're holding was made by my Uncle Lewis, I would have a good possibility of convincing you of that.

So I see a lot of human-like nature from my pet parakeets. Similar behavior though does not prove ancestry. Neither does DNA since our DNA is 90% similar to mice.
