I am planning on going to Le Cordon de Bleu. Is there anyone that has gone there, or is planning on going there? How is it???

While I haven't been there, I do know it's very rigorous and time consuming and they are HARSH on the critiquing. Expect to not have much of a life and feel beaten down a lot. But the training is tops, if you can endure that, restaurants will be beating down your door with lucrative offers since you have the best credentials. It's a lot of work, but it pays off if it's your passion.

And pay attention to the pastry classes. Right now Napa Valley is begging for trained pastry chefs. It's the hot culinary job right now. (Which unfortunately is one thing I have no clue about!)

My brother's ex-girlfriend went there; she absolutely loved it. I hear that you have to be careful of your figure, though, because they usually make you sample what you cook! And it's so good that people usually don't mind, and often even eat too much!
