dvd reading software HELP!!?

Question

I burnt a DVD from VHS... I finalized the dvd it plays on everything. I want to edit it, Windows movie maker wont open it and I tried using decryper and shrink but they both tell me "invalid dvd navigation structure" here are the files that i have... i need a program to read and edit them or convert them.
Video_TS.BUP
Video_TS.IFO
Video_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB (multiple of same file.)

Well. There has to be a way to download it to your computer. like copying any movie. and then upload it into a movie editor...

When you burn and finalize a DVD, there is never a way to edit it. Sorry
