A bob is a really simple haircut. It is usually a one length cut at the chin or shorter. Perhaps what your wanting isn't exactly a bob and that's why your not satisfied. I recommend taking a photo with you, so there is no confusion. Also, like the others said look for people who's hair you like and go to their stylist.

Try calling a few salons in your town and asking specifically for a stylist that can cut your kind of style.

What I do is I look for someone who has what I call a nice haircut and I ask them where they got their cut from.
