I find that Atheists will believe in anything that discredits God. I just ignore them, since I know what a relationship with God is like. I attend a church that is one of the Christian denominations, but I don't worship religion. I worship the risen savior.

It seems that some Muslims say they worship a prophet that ascended into heaven to be with Allah, when history shows that Mohammad actually died, and has a tomb. I am sure that millions go to that tomb each year and worship the dead Muhammad.

I would not call it desperate i call it a longing or an emptiness that can only be filled with one thing. That one thing is a need to know that they're life has meaning and that they have a purpose and were created for a reason. Why are you so quick to look down on anybody for something that they might need. Arent there things you need in your life to feel fulfilled ??
Also i would not call it religion that they need ..they need to feel loved and important and thats what faith can do for you. Ask yourself why u ask that question ???????

For the same reason that other people are so desperate for non-religion: it's easier to let other people do your thinking for you. But this trait is not found exclusively in religious people.

Have you ever sat down and thought about how illogical it was for order to come from randomness?

Not desperate for religion, but for God.

And yes, regardless of what your opinion is, I really did "just sit down" and thought through my belief.
The fact that it makes no sense to you is actually a rsponse that the Scriptures say you would say.

1Cr 2:14 But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means.
1Cr 2:15 We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all.

Christianity is the only way to get to Heaven, in other words believe in Jesus Christ, through Him you will enter the gates of Heaven. I know that people are going to mark me down for saying this because they dont want to believe the truth, they want to hear everything there way, but the Lord Jesus is the MESSIAH and there is nothing you can do or say to change my mind!

Yes, and the day I did my beliefs began to change and mature into what they are now. I never have believed "damn near anything," I've always been quite picky about it. Still am; hope to die still being.

The bible says in 1 Corinthians that the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but to those of us being saved it is eternal life.

There are always things in religion that we will not be able to understand. That's why there are so many religions, people understand it differently.

I have thought of my religion. But what I see amazes me! People care about each other, not items. They are more loving. You have to feel and know it to understand how we feel about it.
