Yes. I have my belly button pierced.
You can't change it often.
Wait at least a month after it's pierced to change it to a regular bar bell. Wait at least 6 months to wear a dangly one on a regular basis.
Don't change it everyday, you'll irriate the heck out of it.
It's easy to change. The first time, it might make sense to go back to your piercer. So as they can tell you if it's ready to be changed, and they'll help you.
If you do it yourself:
Wash your hands, unscrew your old one, put dial soap on the new (CLEAN) barbel [at the top where it first slides in at], and it should slide right in. [the soap is to help it slide in a bit easier.]

It doesn't matter how often u change it but u don't want to change it like every day due to the fact that it will get sore. It's really easy to change it. Just unscrew the ball and take it out through the bottom. When u change it never put a belly ring back in through the top of the hole though cause this will be painful. All in all I think u will be fine. Just relax and don't worry about messing up cause then u probably will. Hope this helps.

Not only do i have mine pierced (for 6 years and counting) but im also a body piercer. Navels usually take anywhere from 6 monthes to 1 year to fully heal depending on the person and how well they take care of it.
Do not remove the belly button ring until 2 monthes after the initial piercing. If your habing trouble loosening it i suggest using a pair of latex gloves (helps alot with traction so you can actually unscrew the threaded top bead). Also, if it is still a new piercing (under 1 year old) and you just feel like changing the ring. stick with Stainless or Surgical steel. its a non-pourus metal (unlike gold and other metals with nickel) that wil not absorb bacteria. which is better, cuz you run a smaller chance of infection with the new piercing. Good Luck!

I have had mine done for years. I don't change my ring often because I like the one that is in and I don't ever even think about it except when I take a shower. They are easy to change. I usually lay on the bed to do it just so if I drop the little ball it will be on me or beside me instead of crawling all over the floor looking for it.

for my section i imagine abdomen button earrings are extra alluring. I actually have one and that i didnt imagine it replaced into painful. My sister has both and he or she stated her nostril harm the worst out of all her piercings, she has gotten her rook, nostril, and abdomen button. issues can ensue with both you in straightforward words must be careful no longer to get an infection. They both will scar even if the nostril must be seen extra. My sister has somewhat carry in her nostril (it truly is closed) yet you'll discover the position it replaced into. It isnt truly noticable yet nonetheless there. And abdomen buttons earrings go away a circle scar which isnt the prettiest. i desire this facilitates you settle on.

yes. .. i used to always change mine. .I was constantly buyin a new belly button ring . . one that matched my outfit. . but I had two kids and had to take out the piercing during the pregnancies. . and surprisingly enough after not having it in for months it still is open. . and it didn't even hurt to put a ring back in it.

It did not hurt to get it, and its very beautiful. I have had mine for about 8 years now. I change mine all the time. Its not hard to do. Don't leave it off for long, as it may close depending on how long you have had it for. Stick with the real jewelery too, like sterling silver or real gold. Those are less prone to irritate your skin.

I've had mine done for ten or eleven years, and I've actually never bothered to change the ring 'cos I'm happy with the one I've got. There's actually no reason why you would need to change it if you don't want to, so don't worry about it too much.
Hope this helps!

Most women end up taking them out when they get pregnant and usually leave them out.
But for now, make sure you keep it clean. Sometimes its easy to change it, It depends on how long you've had it.
Its sorta tricky getting getting one back in.
