Why do I only fall in love with men? It doesn't sound like God gave me free will on this.

Christians, they love to talk about how loving, dutiful and compassionate they are, yet I have yet to meet ONE who does not practice hypocrisy to the highest degree.

Their willful ignorance of the Bible combined with their two faced idealism to preach it, has made us sick, hasn’t it? For nearly two thousand years Biblicists have been lecturing people on the importance of adhering to the Bible’s teachings on ethics, manners, and morality.

They quote Jesus and Paul profusely, with a liberal sprinkling of Old Testament moralism. The problem with their approach lies not only in an oft- noted failure to practice what they preach, but an equally pronounced tendency to ignore what the Bible itself, preaches. Christians practice what can only be described as “selective morality”. What they like, they cling to and shove down other’s throats; what they don’t like, they ignore vehemently.

That which is palatable and acceptable is supposedly applicable to all; while that which is obnoxious, inconvenient, or self-denying is only applicable to those addressed 2,000 years ago.

Their hypocrisy is so rampant that even the validity of calling oneself “Christian” is in question. I see so many people enjoy quoting the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and some of Paul’s sermons, but don’t even PRETEND to heed other, equally valid, maxims.

It possible that you were brought up with that teaching. If that's all you've known since you grew up, that all you will do. Everybody who was born into this world was born into sin. We were born into the bondage of sin. And when we are in bondage we are totally bound to the desires of our fleshly emotions. And this is where demons come in. Demons work on your flesh and inspire lustful desires and they talk to you constantly all day and all night to tempt you. So what happens as sinners we give in to that voice. There is even a demons which has the feeling of love, but it is a imitator. So, this is why Jesus Christ came to break us free from the influence of demons and the bondage of sin and our flesh. That we could walk in freedom, peace, and in the love of God. You can only be free through the Blood of Jesus Christ. You might be captive to sin now, but God will open a door for you to be free if you want to be free. God does give you a choice.

I don't know what people find so confusing about controlling who you love. OF COURSE you can control who you fall in love with. I may be deeply attracted to that girl standing in line at the bank and I may go over to talk to her to try to get to know her better, but if she's not into it, I have to swallow my pride, move on, and try to believe in the saying "there's plenty of fish in the sea".

God gave you free will, certainly, and it's the greatest gift He CAN give you. If you can keep yourself AWAY from being gay (because it's a sin in God's eyes), that will show that you may have a stronger will than anyone around.

NO WAY can you help who you fall in love with. Believe me, I've tried. Good point about God not giving us free will but I guess the heart is just too strong PS. Gaylord is very wise

I under no circumstances had that challenge. When I used to be a minor performer (very minor, brain you) I had lovers, and a few of them gave the impression to be very keen on me, however I do not feel anybody notion they have been in love with me on account that of my questionable proficiency. I do not feel I'd like that.

If you fall in love, it does not mean you have to act on your feelings. Being in a relationhsip is of free choice. If you fall in love with anyone, you are touched by the Lord.

You can't choose who you fall in love with. The heart wants what the heart wants.

No I don't think you can control who you fall in love with, what your sexuality is - you are who you are.
