There is only one truth it is the Gospel of Christ
Everything else is by definition a falacy designed to lead people astray and therefore condemned.
Repent and believe the God news.
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

I too am an atheist who has no problems with Wiccans. I think your beliefs are just as misguided and delusional as are more mainstream religions like Christians or Muslims. But, I observe that as a group, you generally are thoughtful, respectful and don't get involved in the sometimes nasty ad hominem stuff that goes on here.
For the record, I don't attack religious belief for the sake of attacking, however I will challenge their baseless assumptions, point out the absurdity of their beliefs, how their beliefs should not be allowed to influence my life through secular laws, and respond to unfair attacks on my point of view.

Well it's probably the same question every person asks from other religions. I personally am a Christian and am hated by many because they met a Christian who treated them wrong, now if your a wiccan and talked to somebody who had a horrible encounter with a wiccan then you will be treated badly.
It's people presuppositions that make someones beliefs in a religion hard. But I would encourage you that there is more joy found in a relationship with Christ than there is to be found in wicca because Christ is absent.

Mainstream technological know-how does no longer have got to assault faith the best way faith assaults it given that: a million/ It is established on cast and proven study two/ Every new discovery is some thing that faith has to give an explanation for. So a long way, all religions have performed an overly deficient task of explaining. Indeed the 'assaults' by way of the Creationists is the highbrow identical of being savaged by way of a useless sheep. The best factor that maintains them within the public eye is the precept of shouting loudly. Christianity is already uncovered because the worlds greatest fraud, it's only that it's so valuable and entrenched within the controlling powers that it isn't allowed simply to die of stupidity.

Have to echo Freya's answer: It's sort of just the way things are here. I think that it's because it's such an emotional, personal thing we're discussing that some people have a hard time accepting that your personal beliefs are different from theirs. Most of the heat will come from the Abrahamic traditions (Christian, Islam and Jew).
I hope you learn to ignore it most of the time because there are a lot of great people who share their beliefs without being judgemental.

Unfortunately, there are many in this world who believe that their belief is the only true belief and everyone must conform to their belief.
Unfortunately, the Abrahamic religions are mutually exclusive to all others. You will find the most intolerance of other beliefs from these sources.
Peace.

I'm an atheist but I have great respect for Wiccans...they are the most peaceful and loving of all religious groups I have encountered.

welcome to R&S
fasten your safety belt , it will be a bumpy ride
in here , there are attacks on anyone and everyone at some point
please dont take offence and dont take it personally
you will come away from here wiser and stronger for it
Wicca to be honest does not come under attack as much as some others ... but it still happens
you have every right to believe what you wish to , and it is as valid as anyone elses beliefs
hang on to that

Negative stereotypes. Unfortunately a lot of people who are not familiar with Wicca associate it with devil worship.
