and if i can just go to the pharmacy and get it,
what is the proper way to ask for it. i mean do i call it the morning after pill, or something else. how much money will i need?

I think they are available at the pharmacy, prescription counter. Although you do NOT need a prescription to get them.
And yes, just ask for the morning after pill, they know what it is.

Try your nearest pharmacy and if they don't have them, I'm sure they can redirect you to a place that has some.

They are free in many places. If you have a Youth Clinic, Parental Planning Clinic or a free walk-in center, they can help you.

If you are in school, the school nurse could also have some.

The FDA, last summer, approved Plan B for OTC sales for anyone over 18. It became available this past November at local pharmacies. Most pharmacies charge about $40 for it. Call ahead to your local pharmacies and see if they have any in stock.

In NY State a prescription is not required and S.C isnt very far. i think they made them available over to counter in the US.
check your local Duane Reade or Rite Aid they usually sell them and they will be discreet about it (most of the time) and since your over 18 you shouldnt have a prob but bring I.D with you.

Also keep in mind those pill only work up to 72 hours after the "accident" they are usless afterwards. and if you already know your pregnant they will not work cause your already to far along to use them

Best Wishes

you used to have to go to a GYN or you could go to Planned Parent hood where it might be free. Call your local. But recently I saw a sign at RITE AID that you can pick it up there. I don't know how much it will cost but it's worth it if you really need it! They are all open everyday CVS til 8pm I think!
