Dave I thank they got you on misreading the question!
You told him where to get shorts, not “22 short loaded in .22 LR casing”
Where do you find a .22 short loaded in .22 LR casing?
That would be my guess on why some one nailed you, but I could be wrong.

.22 cal. rounds still come in a large amount of types sizes and bullet weights .22 shorts may not cycle and feed in a gun designed for .22 Long Rifle. Older guns were set up with a special magazine that would allow use of all three types of .22s.

If it is the lesser power of a .22 short you are after, you can buy reduced powder, reduced bullet weight loads. Then there are also the " sans Poudre" loads which have no powder in them at all but operate simply from the rim-fire primer.I believe one company that makes the " sans poudre" is Aguilla. Those powder-less round are fine for indoor shooting ,of course will all the safety you can build in. These loads nowadays all seem to come in the .22 LR shell casing. Usually CheaperThanDirt.com will show a wide variety of .22 ammo.

No such thing, as .22s are rimfire and not reloaded. He either has a .22 Short, .22 Long or .22 Long Rifle. Or he could have subsonic .22 Long Rifle ammo. These are available from Remington.

Best.

You can buy .22 shorts at any store that sells .22 ammo.

Stores that sell .22 ammo:

***** sporting goods

Bass Pro Shops

Cabelas

most of the time your local gun shop

Edit: People, I think he is asking for a .22 short that will work for a .22 LR!

Edit 2: Can someone please tell me how I am wrong so I can know how I got the thumbs down?

I think what you want is called a .22 Long. But I haven't see any in years.

If you are wanting faster ammo to shoot out of a .22LR weapon, several companies load 22LR with 30 to 35 grain bullets instead of the normal 40 grain.
