I know that figure sounds incorrect, but apparently, it is accurate. On some channel on T.V., perhaps A&E or other, is featuring some morbidly obese man on there tonight. He is said to consume 33,000 (yes, thirty three thousand) calories each day.

How much weight does this man gain per each day? Could his metabolism be such that it would burn off even a fraction of that enormous amount of calories?

I think this gentleman weighs around 1000 pounds.

you know, like all people, eventually his weight will catch up to that massive calorie consumption...to whatever weight that is that 33,000 calories a day would just *maintain*....meaning, unless he keeps upping his calorie intake, eventually he would stop gaining, and just maintain what he has...

...granted, he would probably be the size of a small planet by then....i wonder what all he eats a day? a yak?

did you realize that if the average pizza slice is approximately 400 calories, (8 slices per pie) this guy eats 82.5 pieces a day....or a little over 10 whole pizzas a day!

omg....i think his metabolism is extremely low and doesn't burn off much of anything he consumes. i've seen specials like that on tv...that's horrible....considering the average male is to consume around 3,000 calories a day....

I don't think there is any way to even guess at what the rate of fat gain might be. who ever is feeding him needs to be taken out back and shot
