We are being stepped on all over the place.Everyone thinks we're brainwashed just because we live by a certain moral standard. It pisses me off, big time... especially those damn atheists who don't shut their damn mouths. I don't have a problem with other religions, my dad's a Jew, i have a problem with people who have a problem with my religion.

What?

Two of our biggest holidays in the US are, in their current form, derived from Christianity. Drive through any town and you will stumble upon a church every 5 blocks. AND they don't pay taxes. Most of the people in power in this country are Christians, and those that are not keep real quiet.

If you are referring to the lack of prayer in public schools, check out my source below. It's to protect all of us, of all religions, from governmental favoritism. Relax.

You are in no danger.

we do not stand up for our beliefs because we are ignorant of the scriptures, if we only knew the word of God then we would see life manifested in others as we share with them his word.

I think it's in Amos 4:11? where there is a famine in the land, but not of water, or food, but of a hungering for the word of God. Oh how it's true today

My only freedom is in God. Someone might persecute me or kill me for my beliefs (like they do in some countries), but no one can take it away.

I think most christians do not speak up (or write up in this case) because they:

1) are embarassed by how some of their brethren behave
2) do not want to chastise fellow believers in front of unbelievers.

How EXACTLY are you being persecuted? Did someone arrest you for praying?

You're right. Why is it that, in this Christian - and richest in the world - nation, many people want for food, shelter and heat? That is, without a doubt, absolutely disgusting to your Jesus.

No one. That's ridiculous. Christians have more influence than anyone else in the US. They pray to your god everywhere, from sporting events to congress to billboards. No one is oppressing you just because you can't force your religion on anyone else.

Oh, poor, persecuted majority. Really, my heart bleeds for you.

Edit: And since when do atheists pray?
