I really don't think so. The food you are feeding your dog is a really wonderful dog food and unless your vet has told you that your dog needs extra vitamins and another type of supplement then NO you don''t need anything extra.

I additionally understand that even with the undeniable fact that your canines won't have his eyesight, he can lead a happy existence. There are somethings which you're able to do help him, do no longer substitute your furniture around... he's acquainted along with his the section now, so after some adjusting he would be fantastic. shop an in depth eye on him... do no longer enable him outdoors without your supervision and a lead except he's in a fenced section, like your backyard... there's a vet place of work in my section that has a thoroughly blind canines, he's the canines of one of the vets. He is going to the place of work conventional, he's happy and he explores and greets everybody. it incredibly is somewhat achieveable for the two one among you to stay universal lives as quickly as you have adjusted to the lost inventive and prescient. Your canines existence expectancy isn't desperate via his sight and it extremely is incredibly perplexing to tell how issues would be. i desire this helps slightly.

hmmm... this is a great question. I would say that a little nupro complete or suppliment with some fresh foods like the occasional pureed carrots and beets or bananas and plain yogurt should do the trick. The problem is that sometimes the nutrients are slightly lessened in their potentcy when baked or processed. You are doing well to feed such a high quality food. We feed raw, usually the Nature's varity frozen raw with the occasional raw marrow bone. I still put a little Nupro on it every other day just for good measure. Good luck.

yes most definetely, dogs are just like humans in that respect,to prevent arthritis or rheumatism their owners are often told by the vet to use cod liver oil and to give oily fish every other day, but also as in humans if they are fed a balanced diet they will not need vitamins and tonics.

High quality food goes a long way, but glucosamine has definitely helped keep my 13 year old dog mobile and active.
