Jesus was speaking for himself not all the humans in the world of which three quarters aren't impressed by large egos.
BTW, the way you set your question up creates a somewhat obscene joke.

That is the decision of every man to decide.
Jesus:
a. Liar
b. Lunatic
c. THE Truth, THE Life, THE only Way to the Father.
For those who think that Jesus is not being specific enough, He reinforces the proclamation over and over again as well as His apostles...
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." - John 14:6
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber."
“Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." - John 10
[Peter stated about Jesus,] "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - Acts 4:12
[Jesus said,] "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." - 1 John 2:23
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 5:21
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." - 1 John 5:11

Jesus was not lying when He said these words. It is these very words that Christians hold as evidence of why Christ is the only Way to Heaven, yet in doing so, we are told we are intolerant of other beliefs. We are not being intolerant - we are only clinging to the Truth of the Bible. Some will say that the Bible is good in many parts and not good in others, or that Jesus was merely a good teacher or a prophet. I would say that if the Bible can only be trusted to be accurate or good in SOME parts, then how can one know what is true/accurate and what is not? They can't. Therefore, one either has to accept it in its entirety, or reject it in its entirety. Christians accept the Bible for the true Word of God and therefore cling to its words as the truth when saying that Christ is the only way to Heaven.
As for Christ, if He was merely a good teacher, then what rational human would consider someone as a good teacher who was acting delusional by claiming to be the Son of the Living God? If any great scholars/educators today made such a claim, I wouldn't put any stock in anything they said, and I certainly wouldn't consider that person a good teacher when they are coming across as delusional.
If He was merely a prophet, again, who could trust a liar to be a prophet of God? See, if He was merely a prophet and NOT the Son of God, then He could NOT have been a prophet of God because prophets did not claim to be God themself.
That only leaves the last choice, which is, Jesus IS the Son of God. One either believes or not. I believe, because I fall into that category of people who believe that the Bible is true and accurate in its entirety, and it SAYS that Jesus is the Son of God and that the only way to Heaven is through Him.

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus got here to them and mentioned, "All authority in heaven and in the worldwide has been given to me." John 5:22 in addition to, the daddy judges no person, yet has entrusted all judgment to the Son, Mark sixteen:19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he became into taken up into heavenand he sat on the excellent hand of God. Luke 22:70 all of them asked, "Are then you the Son of God?" He spoke back, "you're saying that i'm." no person has ever seen God, however the single and basically Son, who's himself God and is in closest courting with the daddy, has made him time-venerated.

The proof of the truth is in the resurrection.
Jesus took our sin upon Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5).
