sometimes you have to dig up, instead of digging down and out.

or you can reach up and let God pull you out, again.

I defiantly feel this way a lot. I have learned to realize though that even though we don't know why, God is giving us trials to perfect us. Have you ever heard the story about silver ore. It is heated and beaten several times. The person refining the ore knows that the silver is ready when they can see their face reflecting in it. God is trying to do the same thing with us. We are heated and beaten and shaped until He can see his reflection in us. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

I spent the summers of my youth working on a dairy farm. Every day we would take large shovels and scrape the 'slab'. The next day it was all piled up again. Skipping a day wasn't really an option - it just compounded things.
