Sounds like he is very much in love and misses you, or he could be concerned about someone stepping in his shoes while he is gone. You should ask him. Let him know your very happy he cares so much for you. But, with phone rates as high as they are you would feel lucky to get 1 call aday from such a great guy. If he is the jealous type then there is your answer. If not his insecurities may need to be address. Take care.

I'm a guy and I talk to my girl as much as I can. Sometimes it really pisses her off if I don't give her enough space. He could either be insecure, or he could just want to talk to you a lot. But I know I have changed my ways because it is kind of an insecure thing that goes on in a guys head when this happens.

I think they're right. That sounds a bit like the classic 'Stalker boyfriend.' He's afraid you'll leave him because you can't handle being away from him, which shows how insecure HE is. I mean, honestly, he can't even enjoy himself in Africa! Just tell him to chill and enjoy himself, you'll be just fine until he gets back.

Your friend knows nothing. No offense. Your boyfriend misses you and I bet he's itching everyday to come back. I bet he's killing himself to call you. He's in love with you nad you should take advantage and stop listening to you friend. He's a good guy and he's just chcking to see if the girl that he admires most in the world is okay. Take advantage. Good luck. You can call him some times too. I hope you love him as much as he loves you.

well I have been dating my b/f for 18 months..and i Love talking to him on the phone..and he calls me every chance he gets...and sometimes he calls 5 times others its only 3..but no i dont think 5 times a day is a lot..he just misses you and wants to talk to you cuz he loves you so much!!

He just probablly misses his gf. Don't worry if he keeps calling like that maybe even more his gf should tell him how she feels about it. DOn't hurt him just like tell him that you like that he calls but not that much tell him to keeep calling but less than 5 times a day

Whether or not it's too much is up to the two people involved. If you are not comfortable with the frequency of his calls, you should be honest with him and let him know.

i really like that my bf call me at least 1 time per day
i was the one who wanted to talk to him
once a day i called him almost everyday
he live in a different state than mine
and he just got mad he didnt aswer the phone
or msg me back
he just broke up with me =[
