I am a proud atheist, tomorrow I'll turn 35, which is just one step closer to the grave.... I know, that's not old, but today I feel old. And tired, and full of sadness and anger at the constant hating and general nastiness here. So, what do you all think? Is it hell for me?

And if it is, can I at least have a Disco Inferno?

Of course, there is no hell. But... disco inferno sounds fun anyway... let's have one!

A disco inferno party for your birthday! Imagine the light glittering off the disco ball...

Happy Birthday (and don't let the mean folk get you down!)

First, Happy Birthday! I hope that you have a wonderful day surrounded by the ones you love and that love you!

Also, don't listen to the other people that are telling you there is no hell. Not believing that heaven and hell exist is one of the worst mistakes we can make. If we believe that then we believe that there are no consequences, good or bad, for our actions on earth. But, since you asked if you are going to hell or not then you must believe it exists.

So, to answer your question - I have no idea! The other person said it correctly - only God can answer that for you. So, ask Him. Tell Him what you are thinking about, how you are feeling, and what you want to know. Then sit and see what He tells you. This is really hard to do, because we are not used to be still, at least I'm not. All you have to do is honestly give God a chance and He will answer you. "Seek and ye shall find."

I can tell you that if someone persists in rejecting God then they will miss out on heaven and end up in hell. It is so sad that people continue to make that choice. However, seeing as how you are still asking about God and where you will end up, then it seems to me that you are still searching for God, and at 35 your final destination is far from certain. (Just don't take too long, because you never know when our time here may be over.)

God Bless!

Happy birthday l'il penguin buddy!

I know how you feel, I had a real poopy fit at this place last night, but it passes.

I'm 36, and thus living proof that there is life after 35 - heck, I'll be 37 in a few months!

And yes, I'm afraid you are damned to hell, but even if it exists [pause for derisive laughter] you'll be in great company.

Guess what, I feel the same as you, and I'm a Christian...some of the people here are disgusting human beings...I get reported all the time...they are very vindictive....I have taken a vacation from here several times....it seems the only solution right now...So no, you are not alone in your feelings...peace

Of course it's hell for you. But no worries, that's where the party is. Some people wanna see God, I prefer meeting John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Gandhi and you.

Sorry, couldn't think of a better online birthday present than adding you in that list.

Have an awesome day tomorrow!

My gift to you ... "The Future of an Illusion" by Sigmund Freud. It will prevent the nastiness and hating from sticking to you because you'll see it for what it is --- child's play.

Have a Most Happy and Wonderful Special Day!!!!!!

If you're a proud atheist, then you shouldn't care what the Christian answer is, except for maybe a laugh.

So laugh away, yes, if you don't accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, I'm sorry, that's where you're going. A Disco Inferno is nothing to joke about, you'll see...

Wow, that was hard for me to type. Now I'm laughing.

On some level, I think you may be worried about this - which is a good thing. Life is 100% fatal... but don't you feel inside that this isn't all there is? If you believe that your soul continues on, (most world religions do believe we continue on whether it be in another world, or in reincarnation) then you owe it to yourself to think upon this issue. Atheist, belief in nothing after this world, no wonder you feel sad...
From a Christian point of view, God made the universe and all that is in it. We belong to Him.. the bible, which I truly do believe to be the Word of God, says that all who believe in Him, will go to Heaven... it is His Heaven - so He decides who enters. Everyone who does not believe, lives outside of God after death, just as they did before death - where "there will be weeping"... don't you owe it to yourself to at least look at both sides of the coin?
We find God when we sincerely seek Him. It isn't blind faith as many state - He will reveal Himself to you, if you ask.
We reach Him through prayer - talking to Him, and then listening to His answer, which may come in the form as a thought you have 'out of the blue' . Throughout the bible there are people who test the validity of God - ask for a sign, and see what happens.
Happy Birthday!!! Hope you have many wonderful years ahead! :-)

Hell doesn't exist, Seriously, if the rest of the bible is nonsense, why would that one little bit be truth?

Sorry, no hell for you but have a happy birthday.

Sorry buddy, but you are destined to be saved along with the rest of us. All human beings will be saved, atheists included. So do what works for you.
