It usually takes 7-10 days for the cut area to heal, but it can take months of taping to get them to stand. Just because they are cropped doesn't mean they will stand or stand correctly especially if you don't know how to properly tape them..

Well.. likely stitches out in 7 - 10 days, then the edges need to heal up a bit more.. Depending on the crop and whether he cleans up the bottom nicely or leaves alot of bell, another week maybe til it's healed entirely.
Then you have to start the long taping process... Make sure that you get good help, or have someone that can help you with the ear taping...
How come your breeder didn't have the litter cropped before you got your pup? It's much nicer, to do it that way.. Then the breeder takes care of the aftercare, gets the stitches out and starts the taping process. Then when you pick up your puppy, he is already been taped once or twice and and knows what to expect, Plus your breeder can properly teach you to tape the ears and tell you what to watch for and what to expect.

Just FYI, it is NOT MANDATORY to crop a boxer's ears, even for the show ring. It's optional. From the AKC Standard:
"Ears
Set at the highest points of the sides of the skull, the ears are customarily cropped, cut rather long and tapering, and raised when alert. If uncropped, the ears should be of moderate size, thin, lying flat and close to the cheeks in repose, but falling forward with a definite crease when alert."

because of the fact the canines is a puppy, i could pass with organic. there is incredibly no reason to crop different than for aethetics and on occasion working canines, yet this canines is a puppy. in case you come back to a determination to crop, pass to a vet it extremely is acquainted with what they are doing! i can't even count variety what proportion terrible ear flowers i've got considered on canines. additionally, be o.k. examine on a thank you to top submit and tape the canines's ears or it's going to advance wallet and it will merely be a multitude. in case you don't get a reliable vet to crop the ears and/or you do no longer submit the ears properly, the ears might desire to get contaminated and could no longer stand even once you crop them. (in case you have ever considered a cropped canines with floppy ears, it would not seem too reliable!) organic ears are lots lots extra handy to maintain.

They're so much cuter natural. My boxer has lovely floppy ears. Not everyone agrees on the cropping. Poor baby.

Poor puppy, I think Boxers are better, all natural! They're born with floppy ears, so I don't see why the standard is to force them to stand up (keep in mind, ear cropping doesn't guarantee the ears to stand up, many attempts fail.)
I'm unsure of the length of the healing process, it's something you should ask your vet. Many complications could alter the average time.

Would you cut your toes off because you didn't like the looks of your toenails?..
If the breed was meant to have floppy ears.. there is a genetic reason for it.. why tamper with nature? Look into all the ear problems a dog can have in its lifetime as a result of the cosmetic surgery. I wouldn't even consider it.

I think that it can be 2 weeks up to a month... It is painful and you have to be careful that they don't get infected and the puppy doesn't mess with them... I would HIGHLY recommend not getting them done. You are only cropping them for your pleasure it has nothing to do with the health of the dog...
