We must all come to our own conclusions before deciding what is true. It is a journey that we all must travel.

Atheist?....what can the devil give you, that God cannot 100 times over. Don't think of what you will have now, think of what you will have later, in the after life. Satan will strip you of all your desires when you go to him and leave you with your worst fears when you die...You think it will be "Party hardy Rock N' Roll" in hell. Well, it isn't.

If you have ever read the bible it will tell you that God promises you all things...everything you have ever wanted, God will know what that is and will give it to you when you see him. Now, what is better than that?

As far as Atheism goes, all that is is for attention while you are here on earth. But I will bet that your kids have a happier look on their faces day after day and yours, probably looks glum and boring.

I am sure that your kids pray for you everyday that you will be saved by God when the rapture happens.

I don't give a damn what my kids grow up to be. They can turn out as closet flames that go to church 1st pew every Sunday and I'll love them.

They can be Buddhists. Namaste. Do what you do.

They can be a Jew. I don't care. Grow a curl. Mazel Tov!

They can be wiccans. Blessed Be! Hug a tree!

But if they choose Islam (especially my baby girl) I will pimpslap them into the Kuiper Belt with no remorse.

I would like to think that my parenting skills would have imparted the importance of rational thinking to my children. Assuming that I am successful, I need not worry about my children becoming christian.

I don't plan on having kids, but something happens and my three godkids show up and their parents wanted them to be raised Catholic or w/e, I'd respect their wishes.

Until then, I wouldn't know.

If that were the case, which it isn't, then I would be pleased that my kids were capable of making their own decisions. I'm just the care taker. Life is their own journey.

I am a Christian, but if I were in your situation, I would be searching for the Truth.

I would feel like a failure as a parent. Fortunately, that's not the case.
