If he is too nervous to look or stand by you I don't think he will be nervous to write to you. You can E-mail him once in a while and I think that would make him a bit confident around you.

Just make it a point to spend more time with him. At first he may just be a little nervous about upsetting you or maybe he just hasn't dealt with a relationship before. Make him feel comfortable and things will come around.

be the first to start off with a friendly conversation and see how things go from there. But don't come on too strong, wait for him to open up before you show your true feelings. He get turned off.

you have to go near him and talk with him alot and more often . ask him questions about his self and tell him about you until he comes out of his shell
