In all actuality the person referred to as Jesus could have just been a prophet,or lots of us could have been fooled in believing he was the son of God.You can say all you want but he very well could have been an imposter.I'ts odd this to say but if you look at the things that were done there are others who can do that as well but we don't call them Jesus.Infact if anyone claimed to be Jesus in this day in age they would lock him up and throw away the key.none of those things that were stated proves that he was the son of God.I know many with argue with me.but I am just bringing up other alternatives not trying to start an arguement just wondering if others might have had similar views? If you have please let me know about them, thanks for your time.

The thing is that I have thought about the same exact thing that you have thought of now. I have absolutely no way to disprove your thoughts and no one else should be able to either. This is one of the main problems with history - we will never be able to view the actual event so we can only rely on what we have in front of us, which may be a skewed source. I have brought up arguments for or against the Bible in preparation for arguing against Christians and Atheists alike. Therefore, I will give you why I think Jesus may not have been all that, as the Bible states.
To begin, long time ago, logic was almost nonexistent. There were the exceptional tidbits that were required to survive. But perhaps there was one person (Jesus) who was born just after some prophecies were made about the "son of God." Then that person happened to actually be smart about utilizing the religious beliefs of people and play a role in order to gain power. I know this is a bit of a stretch but much of it can't be disproved. I'm just offering a situation.
To sum that up, you could say that Jesus was just a smart person who played a role in history.
I have also thought about the fact that if such a thing occurred in the modern day, the people would have a hard time believing it. If you took a poll of who believed in the superstitious about the that time and compared it to a poll in the modern day about superstitious beliefs, you would get a lot less of it in the modern day. With a heightened belief in the superstitious back then, it was much easier to get people to believe almost anything with little evidence. What was actually probably a scientifically explainable event may have been misinterpreted and recorded as an unexplainable superstitious and religious event.
Again, we can't prove that. There is as much a probability that the Bible is true as it is false. To me at any rate. Many people would disagree.

Yes he was, & he also is the living god, but if you look at the what he said & what i belive that it ment , It would seem that the churches & other groups got it wrong once a gain. If you look at it from the jues point then he absoulity was one of the gratest proffits! However if you look at it using the kabblah & this is how the preast of the time would have done by using the hebrew alphebet & a type of numroligy & i have done to some small dergree, Not onley did thay know & belive that he was god incarnate in man. but dispised him for justr that. the human reason christe died is over political power, & eckmonick fear; he said that man could go to god himself , with out an meadator the preasts!

I have a different viewpoint, but that doesn't mean I want to argue! :-) Everyone is entitled to their own opinions... I mean this with all respect - have you read the bible? I ask this only because so often people who disbelieve have not taken the time to read it - which makes their viewpoint not worth much... Basic Christianity is a great book that explains much on why we believe Jesus was the Son of God.

Yes, Jesus(A.S.) was a prophet, but he was a very special Messiah(Anointed One) because he was the last Prophet and warning to the Jews before the Covenant was passed on to the Second and Final Messiah's people.
The 'son of God' argument is highly illogical and very ignorant, considering that the vernacular in Aramaic and Hebrew at the time signified that a 'son of God' was a 'righteous man' as many men before Jesus were called.

C.S. Lewis in his book Mere Christianity writes the following: "I am trying here to prevent anyone from saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him [Jesus Christ]: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept his claim to be God." That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic -- on a level with a man who says he is a poached egg -- or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse .... You can shut him up for fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that option open to us. He did not intend to.”
So, who did Jesus claim to be? Who does the Bible say He was? First, let's look at Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” At first glance, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. However, look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement, “We are not stoning you for any of these, replied the Jews, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). The Jews understood Jesus’ statement to be a claim to be God. In the following verses, Jesus never corrects the Jews by saying, “I did not claim to be God.” That indicates Jesus was truly saying He was God by declaring, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30). John 8:58 is another example. Jesus proclaimed, “I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, before Abraham was born, I am!” Again, in response, the Jews take up stones in an attempt to stone Jesus (John 8:59). Jesus announcing His identity as “I am” is a direct application of the Old Testament name for God (Exodus 3:14). Why would the Jews again want to stone Jesus if He hadn’t said something they believed to be blasphemous, namely, a claim to be God?
So, as C.S. Lewis argued, believing Jesus to be a good teacher is not an option. Jesus clearly and undeniably claimed to be God. If He is not God, then He is a liar, and therefore not a prophet, good teacher, or godly man. In attempts to explain the words of Jesus away, modern “scholars” claim the “true historical Jesus” did not say many of the things the Bible attributes to Him. Who are we to argue with God’s Word concerning what Jesus did or did not say? How can a “scholar” two-thousand years removed from Jesus have better insight into what Jesus did or did not say than those who lived with, served with, and were taught by Jesus Himself (John 14:26)?

I believe the guy may have existed but everything about him was taken out of proportion.
He may have been a good guy teaching people right from wrong at a time when people needed guidance, but other than that, well people created him as the son of some god.

I can see that. You have a very interesting view. I'm sure you will get ridiculed, but it's a valid argument. The Bible was written how many years ago in what language. Maybe everything was misinterpreted. I'm not being sarcastic either.

He COULD have been Bozo the Clown. He COULD have been Perry Mason. He COULD have been anything you want to call Him. BUT, He was, is, and shall aways be, God with skin on. No other sacrifice for sin could pay the price, and only an eternal sacrifice would suffice to pay that price for all time. He was the ONLY ONE who could pay the price, and He did pay it out of love. Whatever else He MIGHT have been, He is what He is--Prophet, Priest and King.

There is no doubt in my mind that Jesus was a teacher and a prophet.
He was no more the son of God than we are ALL children of God.
If he had been the first or only virgin birth we might have found it easier to swallow.
