Yes.
I also give communion. Today I was appointed by the church to give it 4 times. (I am honored by being on the communion and the prayer teams.)

I look at communion as a method whereby common items are made holy and/or imbued with the essence of God (in its aspect of the ALL THAT IS) and then consumed in a belief that doing so will thus imbue the supplicant with a small amount of the ALL THAT IS, thus bringing one closer to that state of being that has been called Christ Conciousness, Knowledge and Conversation with the Holy Guardian Angel, and many other things. In that light, I take a daily communion. I am a Thelemite.

I grew up in a Methodist church which does communion once a month. As I got older, I found communion to be (in the sense of Ecclesiastes) vain - I never found it to be a meaningful ritual.

It varies. maximum do no longer. Communion became conventional following Jesus "final supper" with the twelve disciples, which became the each and every year occasion of passover. Jesus celebrated passover each and each year. He did no longer command us to do it greater many times than he did, regardless of the undeniable fact that the early church enjoyed to do it greater in lots of situations than that. My church is interior the comparable usual wing as AOG, and our custom is to have communion quarterly, despite if it customarily relies upon on the pastor's tastes.
